Absolute complete fraud of a manager, anyone who thinks this is acceptable is every bit as bad as those who want levy to stay. He’s completely destroyed our standards, and brainwashed a big section of our fanbase with waffle in pressers. This joke of a club right now sang his name whilst we sat 5-3 down at home to Liverpool, they went and scored a 6th 30 seconds later.

We just dont have the depth to rotate, the Man U game took a lot out of us. Massive gulf in quality here, look at what they're bringing on off the bench. Would love to have a crack at them with our best team but it looks like we will be hoping for them to play 2nd stringers in the cup.

Forrest game is huge now.

I still think it’s worth giving him the rest of the year. But I do have my doubts if being this open at the back is sustainable. But tbf, we are starting an 18 yo MF at CB against probably the best team in the world at this point.

That said, I can understand the Ange out people more. I think Potter is a reasonable choice as it’s at least a similar philosophy of attacking, playing young players, etc., but a little more control and sanity in defense. Similar to the Klopp to Slot transition.
A very sensible and balanced post, including the part that ANge needs to adapt more. Let us do the full evaluation at season end

We put 3 past the best defence in the league, and they put 6 past us with our starting center backs injured, and starting goal keeper.

It's a very bad result. But not a sackable result, especially after a QF cup win just a few days ago against (what is still) United who can do well.
11th at Christmas, 8 defeats out of 17, 4 home defeats already, form has been shit for 10 months, 13 goals conceded in the last 3 home games. Its not just today, although its another example of the schoolboy football we play. It should be sackable as a whole but probably wont be.

the games done aty 5-1. we dont score 3 if liverpool are under threat of dropping points! how long have you been watching football? its quite embarrassing to come out with what youve just said, unless youre a little boy.

The most upsetting bit of this is the way the media and general narrative around the club is changing, and it’s the narrative Ange is creating.

Everyone used to say “Spurs don’t win trophies” and that was it. Now, pundits, other fans and all sorts basically just sort of chuckle at us and talk about how ridiculous we are, we aren’t even taken seriously as a football club now, because we aren’t a serious football club.

The last few games, commentary teams just do the whole “well aren’t you entertained? Great for neutrals!” We’re a footnote, something as a neutral to make your Sunday afternoon fun when your own team aren’t playing.

Now it’s all we hear “well it’s always entertaining here at Spurs” and yet we are going nowhere. We can hide behind injuries, but it’s clear where this is going. We’re a school team managed by one of the dads.

Of all the things I want this club to win, the hearts and minds of neutral fans is bottom of the list. Now our own fans are buying into it, “let’s sing his name, it’s entertaining isn’t it!” No, it isn’t, I want us to be a proper football club trying to win things.

In the summer, we won’t have won any trophies but will get to some quarters and semis, we’ll finish atrociously midtable - some of our better players will go and play to compete elsewhere, due to being midtable we’ll attract an even lower standard of player as we’ll be shopping in a different store. The same fans will be wondering how it went so wrong all whilst singing the name of our competition winner manager whilst we go and try and turn over Fulham in a “hoping to be top half” six pointer.

So why did we score to make it 2-1? We scored 3 very nice goals imo. Ultimately this match went to script. The fan base is showing a lot of patience because the squad is decimated and we copped them with a full weeks rest...and it is a full weeks rest as they had the luxury of changing an entire starting 11 in the cup.

We're the Village Idiot of football.

And everyone involved in bringing us to this point needs to GO.
