Let’s take away that no one knows about the medical state of the players but assume both have sort of recovered from their injuries. The issue is he played both together as soon as they were deemed ‘fit’. He had been play drag and davies for a couple of games and both done well especially drag who had been derided a bit. There was no reason to drop him for either of the other two. Must have done wonders for his morale. What Ange should have done is start drag and played just one of the other two along side him. But no he played both to save his skin. A game where we got tanked anyway and normally do.
If they were fit enough to start against Chelsea then surely they were fit enough to have at least been on the bench for Bournemouth. We know the answer. 😅

We’ll probably win today and against Wolves and the happy seals will be back in force clapping and telling everyone how impatient and spoiled they are and that we’re on the right track under this underappreciated gem of a manager.

Yeah .. it’s why I have sympathy for the people who would take losses to just see it end. Rather than being on this perpetual inconsistent merry go round where he’s on the brink then survives with a couple of wins.

Hard position for fans to be in but it happens when some of the fanbase just wants it to be over.

I hope we go on a losing streak of 27 games so the happy clappers really learn a lesson.

The happy clappers who happy clap Postecoglou; then the happy clappers who happy clap his replacement; and the happy clappers who happy clap the replacement of the replacement.

Ha ha fuck those guys :cautious:

It was only by chance that he dropped BJ against Southampton. After that destruction in the first half, he had no option but doing the same again against Utd. With 4 goals, he just had to continue... But after the destruction against the dippers, there's an opening for BJ again. BJ is crucial to Angeball, given how much often he's been playing. More than any of our other attackers. I'm sure Ange has learnt absolutely nothing from his previous mistakes so today BJ is going to start.

Hope you’re wrong mate!

Worst type of game for him. A team good at sitting back

Since the 23rd November we have played 9 games and scored 3 or more in 5 of those games.

Last 3 games have produced 21 goals in total.

How do you define entertaining?

I don’t define it as how many goals the opposition put past us, that’s for sure. I thought we were entertaining against United and Southampton. I didn’t think we were entertaining against Liverpool or Chelsea despite scoring. The football we played in those games was not good. Most of the attractive and high intensity stuff came from them.

I also thought we were crap to watch against Fulham, Bournemouth, Rangers etc. And in a lot of games in general which require craft and invention. I don’t find scoring some meaningless consolation goals that fun.

Those pesky happy clappers, how dare they be behind the manager and want the team to win, absolute parasites 😠
