Nobody really wants to start again but, this cannot continue to carry on.
No manager under levy can expect to achieve much, but i think we was entitled to expect better than this.
why does everyone think its always starting again'? what has this fat cunt done? what work is there to undo? a competent football person comes in and makes a huge difference straight away, its not going to be some long miserable journey.

Hi - I had to re-activate my account to comment on this!

I think it's probably time for him to go - tbh, it's been that since the end of last season but I'm assuming there's no-one lined up or in mind (although there should be). It will just be to stop yet another manager payout - probably similar results to what Mason would manage so may as well keep him at the moment. I think that we'll know how much of a 'dead-man-walking' he is by January activity. If we take cheap loans or buy and loan back, then he's definitely gone; if we do little or no business, he's gone; if we get one or two reasonable squad players, then he's still got Levy's backing.

Having said that, I also wouldn't be surprised if he's sacked before the New Year as he can't even say: 'now you're ahead, hold the ball for a bit'.

FFS.

COYS.

This fuck has pretty much decimated the squad and I want him gone, but on the other hand, I honestly feel sorry for who comes in after to try and fix this.

Ange is that guest that comes around for Xmas and then fucking clogs the toilet with their volatile diarrhoea and then fucks off.
I don't know who it would be, but both Redknapp and BMJ took over squads and improved them just by getting them to run around a bit more...

thats the hilarious thing. has a manager ever done this bad and left the squad in absolute pieces on his way out too? its fucking comical how bad this buffoon is

I think we saw a couple times last season him try and "shut up shop". A back 5 at goodison being a big one that screwed us late on. Perhaps that's why he doubled down even further these last few months.

But ultimately, I think whether or not he won't "change his philosophy" is the small print for me. For me it's more that some coaches are cut out for the top top level. Most aren't.
I've always found it really frustrating that he can clearly allow some decent attacking football but, once we're ahead, doesn't seem interested in just slowing it all down. I think Ange should coach first half and then Conte flown in for the 2nd half.

He can complain about injuries but the situation with hamstrings is a freakshow and it’s down to him. He said that these types of injuries are “expected” because of his methods but I’ve never seen anything like this in the history of football.

I’d sack him just to stop the injuries, the man is jeopardising the careers of these players. Son, Odobert, VDV, Romero, Udogie, Davies, Richarlison. That’s 7 players who have had a hamstring injury and all of them got re-injured within days of returning to action with 6 of them being a hamstring AGAIN.

We had horrendous issues with hamstrings last season too, he obviously doesn’t understand how to adapt his methods to suit the intensity level of the PL.

if he gets sacked i want the record to show that he didn't get to execute his plan properly with a normal amount of luck

both seasons had been derailed by injury

the ange in the alternate universe 8304B, the one where the chelsea game went to plan last year and ended 3-1, well that ange's tottenham rides the wave for longer, mounts a semi serious title challenge and finishes a closer 3rd

that ange would have been backed stronger with champions league power

Completely agree. Its his own doing. Only Levy cant see this.

deluded

We are in freefall, dropping down.the table like a stone. Yes we have injuries, but think Levy will sack him B4 the fans turn on him, it's his modus operandi and in 18 months time we will have the same discussion again.

The truth is, the argument that the squad and injury crisis make this a near-impossible job for anyone coming in does hold some weight.

But the real concern is that even when the injured players return, Ange’s style of play seems almost tailor-made to send them straight back to the treatment room—and I fully expect that’s exactly what would happen.

This is one of those situations where any replacement for Ange would need some grace, as hitting the ground running feels unlikely in these circumstances. Honestly, who’d even want the job right now?

That said, with January around the corner, perhaps the promise of reinforcements could tempt someone to take on the challenge—assuming, of course, the club actually delivers on those promises, which I think they will because it’s all looking very desperate right now.

I want the record to show he’s absolutely fucking useless.
