He can complain about injuries but the situation with hamstrings is a freakshow and it’s down to him. He said that these types of injuries are “expected” because of his methods but I’ve never seen anything like this in the history of football.

I’d sack him just to stop the injuries, the man is jeopardising the careers of these players. Son, Odobert, VDV, Romero, Udogie, Davies, Richarlison. That’s 7 players who have had a hamstring injury and all of them got re-injured within days of returning to action with 6 of them being a hamstring AGAIN.
Agree entirely - I was watching Solanke running around like a headless-chicken all afternoon and just expecting him to pull-up after one twist too many. It's a system that's too aggressive for too high a proportion of the match. We're dropping like flies over Winter and need an enormous squad to manage any second competition as the bodies simply can't maintain that intensity every few days for weeks on end.

thats the hilarious thing. has a manager ever done this bad and left the squad in absolute pieces on his way out too? its fucking comical how bad this buffoon is
I honestly don’t remember anyone in my time at least.

You can also see discipline is a problem because everyone is scrambling to stop a counter because of his BS “style”.

Levy is killing the Club, Ange is killing the team.

And people still want these clowns in. I don’t actually even know where the circus is. Inside or outside of this club.

They really don’t have a better team than

They really don’t have a better team than us.
You're deluded if you think there's a big difference in ability and depth? Ait Nouri is another who's a top player and would likely walk into our team. They seemed to have more depth than us for a start... This team doesn't have match winners anymore. The days of us having Bale / Kane / Son to clutch games is long gone. Wolves can at least boast having a player of that sort of match winning ability within their team. All we have are match losers now thanks to the board. The biggest of late being Forster. Man shouldn't be anywhere close to playing for us at this stage of his career. Definitely all on Ange though isn't it 🙄

Thats interesting cos last season we scored a bucket load in the last 15 minutes of games, especially at home.
True. Who knows - I guess with the pace on the wings it's easier when you're ahead and invite the other team onto you so you can counter pretty quickly? IIRC that seems to be the way we were playing once we took a lead last season (probably a muscle-memory-Conte-thing, tbf) - don't see it so much this season.

We had horrendous issues with hamstrings last season too, he obviously doesn’t understand how to adapt his methods to suit the intensity level of the PL.

He’s killing them

We’ll have no players left soon at this rate

After today, as an outer, i'm not even angry at him like i was after previous matches. He adapted, he tweaked things. Udogie played a lot as almost 3CB in possession, we werent that much exposed. This match was different than it was vs Forest, Bmouth, CP, Ipswich and so on.

Both 2 wolves goals - not clear chances, very good shots (2nd one was mostly about that beautifull pass from Ait Nouri). Forster almost had nothing to do except for goals. We also didnt screw that much with playing from the back, we went long when needed

Think we could win if Johnson would be still at RW for those couple counters. Guys are definitely lost though in final 3rd, no patterns, we rely only on Deki/Solanke individually. Our attack is mess generally.

Kudos to Ange for trying something new. At least he is not that mad as i thought.

The truth is, the argument that the squad and injury crisis make this a near-impossible job for anyone coming in does hold some weight.

But the real concern is that even when the injured players return, Ange’s style of play seems almost tailor-made to send them straight back to the treatment room—and I fully expect that’s exactly what would happen.

This is one of those situations where any replacement for Ange would need some grace, as hitting the ground running feels unlikely in these circumstances. Honestly, who’d even want the job right now?

That said, with January around the corner, perhaps the promise of reinforcements could tempt someone to take on the challenge—assuming, of course, the club actually delivers on those promises, which I think they will because it’s all looking very desperate right now.
I'd be stunned if that were the case. What will happen is, is that we'll get in a couple of loans to cover the 'freak' injury crisis because Levy and co. will argue that once all the players are back, we'll have a bloated squad.

Club is a shambles and quite frankly I've become fairly numb to it the last few seasons.

It is funny he mugged off all the people that have been dying on the hill that he can't change anything due to principles or other such bollocks.
Why is it funny?

He should have learned this last year. It’s too little too late. Fair play and what have you but what, it is supposed to be “in your face” after 18 months or dog shit?

And even so - we don’t even know if it’s him doing it or the players just doing it. We will find out shortly.

Whatever happens over the next couple of days.. If I see one more article after a disastrous result where the club have briefed that they're not thinking of doing anything "knee-jerk". I'll feel ill.

If you want to sit on your hands and accept that the results and standards of the actual team is secondary to whatever other sponsorhip or real estate chicanery you have going on. Then whatever. But at least stop announcing it every 5 fucking minutes.

I don't know who it would be, but both Redknapp and BMJ took over squads and improved them just by getting them to run around a bit more...
Yeah, but our problem isn’t the players not running around enough. Our persistent running has burned up the team, and we just don’t have the team for a more pragmatic approach right now either.

I’m not sure what a new coach offers except to just stop the feedback loop of negativity.
