I firmly believe Ange would have been sacked earlier in the season if we hadn’t sacked so many managers recently.Well we didn't. Because 2.0ppg is less than 2.6ppg.
We didn't replicate it, as its less. And at no point has he done 10 games unbeaten, nor won 4 on the spin. In fact 3 is the most, with 2 on the bounce being very rare.
So no, whatever period of games you select, there is no replication of that 10 game run, nowhere near it.
Our PPG has been in a constant state of decline ever since. To alarming levels that would have seen every manager we've had to date sacked already.
I do not believe any of our last managers sacked were for results though.I firmly believe Ange would have been sacked earlier in the season if we hadn’t sacked so many managers recently.
I’ve heard of living off others’ success, but living off their failures is a new one

Conte- Obviously his rant.
Nuno- fans never behind the appointment so when it went wrong Levy got the backlash.
Mourinho- got in an argument with Levy about playing the first team in a game the week before the cup final.
Poch- Got fired because he fell out with Levy over not wanting to do the documentary.
The fact is the last managers sacked because of results was AVB. It is hard to know why there has been a change in the leeway Levy gives some managers but I think it is more to do where we are in the ownership of the club. I think the sale has a big say in things. The fact is whoever comes in will want a say in the next manager. This has given Ange this extra time but he is still going to get sacked.
The problem I have is Levy is now at a stage where he is happy to write off another season for the 3rd or 4th time.

We "just" need to win our last two.
Rangers play Man U and it's fairly unlikely they both get 3 points from that game.
Wasn’t that sarcasm?
If one of the 2 teams gets at least a point there is a strong chance the other team gets at least a point as well and potentially avoids defeat.Rangers play Man U and it's fairly unlikely they both get 3 points from that game.
Kulusevski is worse than Maddison in duels.
Kulu has a better transitional game.
I think because Maddison can dwell on the ball at times and then has his petulant moments it probably sticks in the mind more when he does lose them.
Stats back it up too.
Maddison has a 55% duel win rate
Kulusevski has a 36% duel win rate
In a passing sense, for the whole team as a collective, Probably, you want him on the ball to initiate the counter when we gain possession.

But not at individually gaining ball and then driving through the pitch quickly which is kinda what I meant why Sarr and kulu are good in that sense.
To be fair as Im writing this I do seem to remember him doing it very effectively, quite often, Brentford and Brighton games spring to mind and City
Yeah but we’re currently not even close to winning something mate.
Change the system play 3 at the back 2 holders in CM MADDs in 10 and kulu and Solanke up top.Kulusesevski definitely progresses the ball through carries more than Maddison, but Maddison progresses the ball much more by passing - and his progressive passes are far more numerous and incisive and productive than Kulusevski's carries are. But a carry will probably catch the eye more.
It's good to have both in the team, and it doesn't have to be a choice, and with our squad now it shouldn't be, Kulusevski should never be in midfield but he miles more use to the team dynamic as the RF than Johnson, even if he scores less. Even when he's in midfield he gravitates into that position anyway.

Only issue with this is we don’t have any CBsChange the system play 3 at the back 2 holders in CM MADDs in 10 and kulu and Solanke up top.
We both know (maybe you less) that these wins are as likely as Spurs finishing top 4 this season.

A flexible manager could consider that. Not Ange.Could do the 3421 with Maddison and Kulusevski as the dual 10’s a la Poch 2016-17 with Eriksen and Ali.
