Kulu has always said his preferred position is central MF. Ange resisted playing him there until he was forced too.

What?

Kulusevski was signed for Conte and played RW the whole time. He was firmly established a a RW in this league when Ange arrived.

The first time he got a chance to play centrally was last season, pretty early on in Age's first season. It was only this year that talk about moving centrally again came up and even now, some of his best games this season have been off the RW with the freedom to roam.

Great Quote from the late Sven-Goran Erikson
That Ange could take on board.

Over time he says he realised the most important thing is not the system but the players you have.
Then you make a system for them…..

Not rocket science by any stretch but even he cottoned on eventually…..

It depends...if he is coach of a national team, then the player pool is limited to that nation. Need a better striker? Midfielder? Nope. You have what you have.

Clubs especially wealthy ones should be able to bring in players needed to play the system, provided they are available, identified and affordable.

Its interesting to compare Postecoglou with his main rival Australian manager Graham Arnold at the WC. Complete opposites in football philosophy. Arnold played safe and within the limitations of his players. Arnold achieved 6 points at the WC, going out to -but testing- Messi's Argentina. Postecoglou got zero points and with a more talented squad.

Astonishing and irresponsible waste of time.

Unless of course his parting dig at the club is "they didn't even back me in the January window, mate"

I’m not saying I particularly agree with it but I’m going out on a limb & guessing that Levy will make a complete balls up of it . For a change

I find it quite amazing how unanimously the media, fans and pundits have all, unanimously, decided Amorim is failing at United and that he has to change his ways.
Yet Ange, who has been doing exactly the same thing week after week, for over a year longer, seems to be defended for his actions more often than not.

The same "pundits" beating on Amorim are quote vociferous on how Spurs must stick with Ange.
How does that work?

What the fuck are you on about, literally every pundit has been banging on about Ange needing to adapt or have a Plan B for well over a year, do you live under a rock or something?

Which pundits are those? I've seen nothing but skysports and the big media publishers saying that Ange will never win playing this way. Where is this conspiracy you feel is going on?
