Pitchforks will be out.

Not really. They’re already out and rightly so but given the circumstances I don’t think today is going to change anyone’s mind.

Those who are Ange out will still be Ange out.
Those who are Ange in will still be Ange in - given the dire circumstances we’re in. Maybe it’d change if we were fully fit and still got battered.

Personally I think we’re gonna take the biggest hiding in premier league history today.

I think its more case that some fans appreciate all the facts and can understand that the current situation at the club is totally unmanagable. We will be missing anywhere between 10-15 senior players today against an in form Newcastle team!

We've been missing at least 7 players every game (including starting GK and 2 starting Centre backs) since the 4-0 city win and have had a game every 3 days where we've not been able to rotate due to all the players missing. This has been an unmanagable crisis and this idea of sacking Ange to fix it makes no sense to me. We need to increase our squad depth and get our injured players back before we can make a final judgement on Ange.

I get it fans are frustrated and just want to see their team winning again but we can't lose context and perspective. The current situation is the worst I've ever seen. The line up we put out today could be the worse ever Spurs line up in Premier League history! Now would be the worst time to throw in a new manager! For now we just have to suck it up and wait for this crazy period to end and once we have a team ready to win again then we can judge the manager.

I know it wasn't perfect before the injuries but I was quiet happy with Ange and our performances, and happy to give him time before we lost half our squad and have been playing with one hand behind our back ever since.
I see your point but I don't want to use the injuries as an excuse. While we have had a lot of injuries, Ange has been unable to pick the best team even when all players have been available.
He's benched Madders more than has been justified. He's insisted on playing BJ almost every game despite his lack of impact.
He never gave Spence any time until injuries forced him to do so. Spence has proven to be highly talented and a good manager would have given him time earlier in the season. Both to develop such a good player but also to rest Porro. It shows that he never cared about the prospect of Porro being injured, or simply thought that Spence couldn't be allowed to play. He clearly either asked for an injury or massively misjudged Spence ability.

He rushed Romero and Micky back despite Radu and Davies having showed that they were capable of starting. Under them, we didn't concede more than usual. We may actually have conceded less. So a clear lack of judgement to not only start one but both.

It's been documented from his time in Celtic that he had an unusual number of injuries also then. He refused to take any blame for it, but now it happens again. Our style clearly demands a lot of the players. Micky's bursts to recover as the last defender isn't sustainable. It can't be good for Micky's body either to just last for a few games before the next occurrence. He's a very talented defender and it would be a shame if his career was cut short because of how he was used. Might have happened anyways, but it clearly isn't helping that our defence is so reliant on his speed.

I think Ange is reckless. He's reckless in how he plays football. It's all about being a spectacle for him. He's won the league in all his other clubs. At this level, he isn't even competing anymore. We've been terrible for over a year now and you can't blame it all on injuries.

And the team was good enough to rack up wins in the beginning of Ange's tenure. Maybe it's the players and not Ange to who deserve credit for that?

It surely wasn't the players who decided to play with a high line against Chelsea with only 9 men. It was just a miracle that they didn't score earlier. But of course it was just a matter of time because Sterling would get a ball through ball.

Look how Klopp played against us with 9 men. He parked the bus. We looked clueless though and only won because of a Matip own goal. Ange couldn't adapt in either case. He's an inferior manager who had a great team but ruined it.

It's painful to rewatch this but this is when everything changed. This was the night that Ange was found out.

If you watch the game, you'll see how fantastic our players were at that time. Except for Romero being an absolute idiot, all the rest performed at the highest of levels.

That was a team good enough to challenge for the title. But it's also when the team lost faith in their manager. Ange was being called naive by the commentators. We said that they were just Spurs haters like the media always is. They were hating on Ange and his success. We were still top of the league and Ange was the real deal.

More than a year has passed and it's obvious that they were right. Go back and look at that high line. The way we failed to adopt, first with 10 men but also after going down to 9. It's obvious now. Ange was called brave but now it looks more like being stupid. What's so brave about not changing your game plan after going a man down? He even had the half time rest to do something.

Top players, poor manager. Right now we're just a shadow of what we were before and still people are protecting Ange.

1. We weren't found out, we were battering them then they dug up a red card from a clearance the Chelsea players never even appealed for a foul on. He did lash out before though so the VAR was looking for an excuse to "correct" the refs yellow. We had just beaten Liverpool and the VAR on shift is that ozzie Liverpool fan.
2. VDV likely injured his hamstring from the standing around waiting for VAR to make a decision.
3. Stop making excuses for that fixture and the PL scriptwriters. The sooner Spurs fans just boycott that fixture the better, that club shouldn't even be in the Premier League, it's the poster club of corruption and cheating.

The problem here though is once again, it’s looking at the context of injuries in the last few months, yes the current crisis is shocking. However many of the people who want Ange gone, want it, because the context they are using is his entire time here, not just the current situation.

I would imagine the frustration for them comes from being told they need to look at the current context and being ignored when they talk about the context of his entire time here.

Injuries has been used as an excuse, apart from the odd game here and there of, this all out attack it has been fairly poor.
Have most of the Injuries been caused by the system, the likelihood is yes as many are the same.
I think the club has stayed with him, because they don't know what to do stick or twist.
