Perhaps what continues to astonish me most in this thread is the continued faith all will come good under Ange. It's been awful for ages now and it's quite clear this so-called project has no long term prospects of succeeding. This team is now only three points better off than Pleat's plodders were in 2003/04 and that team were in a relegation scrap.

I can't believe how low the standards continue to drop and we are feeding 'Ange in' on nothing but vibes. He has to go ASAP.

What is this actually based on though?

Normally a caretaker comes in when a manager has lost the dressing room, the players would normally get a bounce and go on a run before plateauing because they hated the previous manager and didn't want to play for him - I don't see that here and with matches like today it doesn't tell me that the replacement temp manager would make an iota of difference, probably gets worse if the players are playing for Ange.
