Because managers to tend to move mid season.

The likes of Iarola, Frank, Silver are likely to leave their posts in the Summer, not half way through a season.
Managers are always moving mid season

I've never noticed a large flurry of managers all leaving in a summer

It's all year round for managers , this argument that there is no one out there that we could get does not ring true to me

It's a ready made excuse for Ange apologists to justify this farcical situation however

That bozo who bottled the last day of the season to a shit Bayern team, plays crap football and I didn't think winning cups outside the Premier League meant anything, silly me.
Bayern had a miles better team than his Dortmund side and they also got to a champions league final. He performed above expectations, yeah winning means something in serious countries like Germany, not fucking Scotland and Japan.

Calling terzic a bum when we’re literally employing a 60 year old novice is new levels of insanity from this fanbase.

I'm sorry to break it to you but those managers aren't moving mid season to come to a club who have just sacked their manager mid rebuild, they're going to asses their options and see what's best for them in the Summer.

Also you lot will never fail to make me laugh...you continually make the point about Levy being the worst chairman ever but you expect managers to drop everything to jump at the chance to work with him...oh yes that makes complete sense. 😆

We’re losing to Woolwich and I’d be surprised if we don’t lose at Goodison tbh. Should beat Leicester but a trip to Brentford is another loss. After that some more tough fixtures vs Fulham, Bournemouth and a trip to the Bridge. Away game vs Ipswich could be a 6 pointer.

Do I think we will get relegated? No. Do I think we could feasibly be on the periphery of that conversation sat in 15th or so? Yes it’s entirely possible, we are currently THREE whole points from 15th.

What did Amorim say the other week? Relegation is possible. Well they have Southampton at home next week while we play Woolwich. So we will be below United most likely.
We’re probably safe from relegation already, on 24 points. 10 points from the last 18 would be enough for safety most any year. It’d have to be Southampton level bad

They were 2 points ahead on the last day of the season for God's sake, Bayern sacked their manager half way through and were having a disaster of a season - The fact that Tuchel came in with 3 months to go then won the league only to get sacked himself a year later for winning absolutely nothing tells you how much bad they were.

Two things can be true by the way Ange can be a bum but so can Terzic, you might be a bum man but I've had enough of bums personally.

You don't sack a manager when the whole team are clearly fighting for him and willing to play through illness for him. Players willing to play out of position every week. Players trying to rush back from injury to help the team! You can't buy that. This is a united group and sacking the manager will only divide the camp
If the manager haven't been able to create any form of structure in how the team plays in 18 months. You have no choice, regardless if the players back him or not. And if he's managed us down till bottom half. He has to go. There is no hope anymore for s turn around this season. And there is not any hope what so ever of us winning a title this year.

Tomorrow is much too late, but it must happen soon.

Levy is horrendous but he's a legitimate stud muffin

We should exploit that

New levels of insanity from the cultists .. it’s not the whole fanbase tbf. Any normal fan could tell you that with a CL final, a domestic cup in a top 5 league and a serious title challenge with Dortmund, Terzic has a CV which pisses all over Ange’s resume which is literally all in fourth or fifth rate leagues.

So you tell us.

Is Levy a hindrance to finding a suitable replacement, or an asset?

If you think he's an asset, securing a replacement mid season won't be an issue.

So which is it?

I've said countless times, if he finds a suitable replacement (I like Iarola) now then Ange can go.

If he sacks Ange now and hires Mason as a replacement then he has failed and as much as you think that's a good idea now you're going to be the first one moaning about the decision because you always hang onto any little desperate crumb of comfort to paint Levy in a bad light, we know how this works.

If anyone thinks the 2nd half was because of anything else other than Eddie Howe is tripping

He managed the game away from home saved his players from unnecessary exhaustion.

Yes our younger players did well but only one manager managed the game and got the result.

I hated watching the matches, and if memory serves we were 4th when Tony left, but starting to sink and the performances were bottoming out.

There's a happy medium between Conte's guileless muscle football and the halfwitted idiocy we've seen this season. Has to be.

We were 4th with two games in hand over Newcastle and Man Utd, we were trending down and we got battered by Leicester who were fucking relegated that season - people love to ignore the context when talking about how bad Conte left us.

Yes that is my recollection, I think the first season under Conte was pretty good, especially towards the end, but the second was a disaster zone mostly. I do think there were significant extenuating circumstances in his personal life and it's a question of what might have been, but make no mistake it was bad - hated watching the football, some games we only had one shot per half!

Of course none of that is to minimise the very real and significant flaws in Ange and his system.
