We have lost nearly half our games, that tells me this group of players aren’t to fussed about losing games, they are united in being shit.
Yeah well thats where we are at with this current group of players available. I don't see another manager getting more out of them atm. Good to see the club are backing Ange in January to see of he can turn it around. If not then he's gone in May and Iraolo comes in. It's as simple as that really even though this forum would try to convince you something different is going on lol

So what top talent did we attract under poch when we were regulars in the CL!?
Poch got the players that he wanted but his decisions were devastatingly bad.

Ndombele and Lo Celso were expensive and total flops. Why he went for them I don't know.

But do you think those guys would even have signed for a club placed 12th in the league? Do you think Bale would've bothered to return before retirement, all things equal, if we had been a bottom half club then?

There's a reason that clubs tend to stay at a certain spot in the league year after year. It becomes a pecking order and being located in London will only take you that far. In fact, if you get a player picking you because of the London location, they probably want to have more fun than playing anyway. Real legends don't go to Man U or Liverpool because of the location. If all you have to offer is the location, you're finished as a club.

You said our players were being marginalized.

The two players that you could argue that point about this season are definitely Reggie and Spence.

Yet those two have come in and have put in maximum effort for the same manager you say has treated them terribly.

Think it's safe to say that they don't have the same attitude to him as you do.
I can 💯 guarantee Spence will see Ange as the Coach who gave him a chance to turn his Spurs career around,

People seem to forget before his injury Spence was coming off the bench before Davies this season.

Ask Spence what he thinks about Conte, I bet you get a very different answer.

They can all send him a Christmas card next year when he’s managing Adelaide.

What makes you think that they played for Ange? Ange is just a buffoon that they have declared as incompetent. But they are good footballers and have high standards.

In fact, they may want to leave this shitshow. You don't know the reason. Nobody can know for sure but one thing we do know. Ange wasn't able to spot Spence talent. Many on this forum cried out for more Spence time for months. Tells you who knows more.

Also, nobody was crying out for us to sign BJ, ever. Especially not for 50 M. Ange wanted him badly. This is a fact. Shows how much Mr Aussie rules knows about real football.

He began as an Aussie rule player in fact. Made his name in the super competitive Australian league followed by Japan.

After that he got a job with Celtic where it's harder to not win that to win. Still failed miserably in Europe. Avg 1.20 points per game this season. Yea, seems like a solid manager. But yea, give him cred for Spence who he plays only because he ran every other option into the ground. Had he spotted Spence ability in time he could at least have rotated him although he is really a starter. But no, not even good for Angeball rotation. Ange is a fraud. Wake up.

This is our final position in season 97/98 under Gerry Francis and Christian Gross. A season when we were a complete joke and almost went down. Probably our lowest point since we were relegated in 1977

We're currently on to get 45 pts, 43 if we lose to Woolwich. That would make it our worst league season in 48 years. I'd be amazed if we dont pass those 16 defeats this season. That isnt due to injuries, refereeing conspiracy theories or the media. Its on dreadful squad management, appalling coaching and stubborness that would make a spoilt child blush.

You remember what you said about Spence before he got 2 assists in 2 appearances and showed everyone that he’s definitely a PL full back?

Because I do.

Spence is probably a conversation where you should pipe down champ.

Good god you’d think the likes of you would learn to not count your chickens before they’ve hatched. He’s had a couple of good games. Thought he was actually very poor at fullback vs Newcastle and better at centre back.

What I actually said was that I suspect we might find out why managers haven’t played him much, mainly because I assumed there was a good reason. So far there doesn’t seem to be. Lot of the season left to play.

Unlike you, when a player has two good games I don’t piss my pants and assume they’re a world beater. Like Kulu, another shit game from him but he will be hyped up to the moon when he scores against Leicester.

Cool story bro.

And you didn’t say we’d get battered by 5 against Newcastle as well.

No mate, I actually didn’t say that. Like straight up not what I said at all… but not like you to have reading comprehension issues.

Remember that you did actually say we were going to win the game though? And I’m not having to misquote you here, you said it. Right after we were coming back against Forest.

Maybe try not to happy clap too much pre Liverpool game and we might actually have a shot.

Yeah it’s why when the next guy comes in, the players with a bit of basic defensive training, should improve performances quite quickly. Just some proper structure so that teams don’t break on us and have a chance at goal would be appreciated.

I would add to that when we are on the attack, watch how many times the players pass the ball to a player in the wrong place, it’s never properly to feet, it’s always just before or in front of them, especially when we are on the break. Or the players aren’t in the right position to receive the ball. That’s basic coaching they aren’t getting and I think our coaching staff are part of the problem. They are need clearing out with him. An expensive process I suspect levy isn’t ready for.
I'd also argue our press is poor. It's not just about pressing the man with the ball, it's about pressing (getting tight) on players who could receive the ball. Again basic coaching. Press as a unit or don't press at all in the final third. Sonny for example doing those lung-busting solo runs towards a player with the ball, only to have that player knock it to a team mate just before Sonny arrives?

Good Lord what are you taking about, if a player has an option between choosing us, West Ham and Fulham they will choose us because we pay more, it's as simple as that.

This thread is hilarious, just legit making up doomsday scenarios because you want to wallow in self pity 😂

Mid-table sides you mean!

Cannot be argued mate well said.

The funny thing is that at the very start this team managed to go top. It can't be the players that are poor either. Although it's true that everone has gotten worse the longer Ange has been here.

It takes a long time to change a team. Because of that I think that the team that was leading the league last season had very little to do with Ange's ability as a coach. It was something he inherited. The players were invigorated after the mess of the previous season. That surely helped and Ange can get some cred for it. But Ange failed his first test. With 9 men against Chelsea he still insisted on an extremely high line. It was naive and unprofessional. The players were doing something incredible but they must have felt that Ange's philosophy wasn't working. Instead of honestly trying to protect their lead, they were forced to play Angeball. They lost 4-1 and it was completely undeserved and completely on Ange. Since that game we've been terrible.

We have some really high calibre players still. You don't go top of the league like that unless you are good. Suddenly they turn shit.

Is it on Ange or is it on the players? No football expert is saying that Ange is a great manager. They all call him naive since the Chelsea games. Only some deluded Spurs fans think this clown is the real deal. Are they all Aussies?

So I guess United are really going to struggle signing players now?
