I don’t think you like Johnson. That you’re biased due to that.

Maybe watch this to see how much absolute bollocks you are talking.

Almost all of his goals are tap ins. Any player in the world would've scored those.

What the video doesn't show is his incredible misses. His failed crosses. His inability to beat a player.

Highlight videos are just that. They are biased. They're not made to make an honest assessment of a player.

I think Johnson copes more flack than he deserves.

My biggest issue is his failure to support Porro when defending.

Oh man that’s a lot of tap ins.

In the league he’s on nearly 1 goal in 3 now. Which is pretty good, except he doesn’t really offer anything else. Newcastle was another game where we were basically down to 10 men if he didn’t get his 1 in 3 tap in.

He’s below xG so not clinical with the tap ins. So basically he offers smart runs off the ball. Which are an asset, but not enough to start. A useful, niche squad player. Our not as good version of Diogo Jota but with significantly less technical quality.

If his xg is bad then say no more. Our stats guys need to improve at their jobs. This moneyball park needs to reap results.

You need to make a video then. Be a doer. Not a talker. Get on it man.

I’m off to a site now. Have a good day! Peace out!

Can't keep this fool until the summer!!! Far too much damage would have been done by then. Bottom half of the table, no silverware, our better players wanting away, if they are fit enough to get out of the treatment room and our youngsters devoid of confidence.
Our current squad deserve someone competent at the helm!
also, hanging onto him any longer potentially puts the likes of silva and iraola off, they wont want to come in for a relegation fight with a side seriously damaged by some incompetent fat cunt.

its not attractive to them then.

Yep. You can’t say it would be positively different. You can just theorise. Romero was giving the opposition a goal a game almost before his injury.

Our first choice team already lost to the same team this season when that same team were not playing well at all.
All true.

I was responding to someone who said we lost because of Johnson and our injury crisis is irrelevant. And I think I used the word "likely" rather than "positively".

Go find someone else to start an argument with.

But his finishing is awful. If he can't even finish, what can he do?
All but two or three goals came from tap ins. Why can't he score any other way? It's not because of lack of chances.

And how can you afford having a right winger who can't beat a man? It makes it so easy to defend against.

If you don’t want people disagreeing with what you say, don’t post opinions. I don’t agree it’s ‘likely’ we don’t concede two. I provided evidence of why. It clearly irritates you that your view has been challenged.

Have a fantastic, happy clappy day.

I watch the games. I suppose you don't. I can't make videos for you because you can't spot the obvious.
But do look at our most recent game. His shot went flying parallel to the goal.

The main risk is our best players agitating for a move this coming summer. That could indeed happen if Ange continues to tank the season.

Other than that, a new, competent coach will get initial improvements from week one.

Managerial improvement actually tends to happen pretty quickly. Like it did in Conte's first season, or when Harry took over in 2008/9, or at most within 6 months like with Poch.

I genuinely fear this is "it" under Ange, albeit with hope for a slight upturn with Romero and Van de Ven back.

I will thanks, you too, in your own way.

I don't mind people disagreeing with what I do say, but it annoys me when they put different words in my mouth and then disagree with those.

i agree 100%. but the longer this clown stays the less attractive it is for the likes of silva and iraola as there is a genuine risk we could go down. we should get an instant improvement from a competent coach but if we are in a dog fight to stay up why would they risk their reputation on it when they can wait for a far safer job? we end up having to get in someone else and it puts us back at least another year. every game that this idiot stays for is a worry.

Craig Mitch on The Kick Off reckoned the shift of Ange in/out had gone from 70:30 to 50:50 in the last few weeks.

I’d be surprised if it hadn’t.

If we win a game or 2 it will swing right back though.

If we lose a couple more games it will turn even further. I don’t see it getting toxic like it did with Conte and Jose but the reality of football is what it is. We need results or Ange will lose the support he has from the fans.

The fact that he still has as much support as he does shows you something though.

I struggle to get my head round people really believing the idea that players agitate for moves because of league tables.

Players move for money or a chance at the very biggest clubs. League table has fuck all to do with it.

Saliba would leave the gooners for Real Madrid in a heartbeat and they could easily finish 2nd and it won’t matter.

Romero will have 2 years left this summer so have the leverage to help a club negotiate for him. If that club is paying much bigger wages he will want to go and he should because players are in this business to earn as much as they can in a very short time.

Everything else, and I mean literally EVERYTHING else is media talk to sell clicks and ad views. It’s all bollox.

Of course league position matters. Its amazing how this narrative has crept in as we drop down the table.
players want to play in Europe esp CL. Thats a given. Youre not buying in top players finishing 12th. Possible chance of winning EL might attract next tier. Absolute madness to think you can attract the top tier by not being in Europe

Your lack of self-awareness no longer surprises me.

I don't think relegation is a genuine possibility, at least not yet. There are at least 5 teams that are certainly worse than us.

But a very mediocre 90s style 12-15th place finish, and no cups of course, is very much on the cards. Liverpool will wipe the floor with us in the Carabao and the first tactically savvy Europa League manager will easily do us ~4-2 on aggregate using low block & counter.

Every day you post on here is a worry but there ya go.

I still don't like you.
