Our major issues have been playing out from the back and getting the team up the pitch and lacking composure when we have the ball hence why we keep giving away cheap goals.

It's abundantly CLEAR that we suffer when we don't have ball players in this team especially in the first phase which is the defensive 3rd the ball keeps coming back.

No idea why you're trying to turn this into a science - it's pretty simple get your better players on the pitch you win more matches.

Vicario/Kinsky Romero and VDV make a huge difference to this team mainly because you don't have Forster and Dragusin trying to play out all the time...to deny that is just being completely stubborn and ignorant.
May be they help but we still have had the same forwards who keep losing the ball. This was a big problem last season and has continued this season.

Did you misread what I said? I said that Vicario or Kinsky do make a major difference to the way we play out from the back and that's the reason why we are conceding goals because the ball keeps coming back, having a keeper who is comfortable with the ball means your defenders aren't second guessing whether the keeper is going to kick it into his own net or pass the ball to an attacker.

Ok so If you think VDV and Romero coming back will make a difference why do you keep taking about relegation and choosing to believe those doomsday scenarios, you quoted a post which said there is 0 chance of being relegated but you seem to be adamant it could still happen even though you have just said we are likely to finish mid table?

But we still conceded lots of goals with vicario in goal 🤣 You’re just making excuses for Ange and our terrible form. We have been on the end of loads of thrashing’s and defeats with Vicario playing.

We do and will play better out from the back with a ball playing keeper but Ange’s poor tactics and structure is the reason we are where we are.

VDV and Romero might make a marginal improvement but that’s from a very very low bar. And I’m not choosing to believe doomsday scenarios. I’ll just remind you we have 2 wins in the last 10 PL games and Woolwich away up next. I like to base my views on what is actually happening and our actual record, not just fairy tales that things will magically get better when we get a couple of players back from injury. I’m not adamant we will be relegated I’m saying if our form continues we will be in a battle.

wtf are you on about? I don’t need evidence to have an opinion. I’m not presenting it as fact. You can’t pretend that signing players means Ange is being backed. It’s rubbish.

You have presented things as fact after saying others have no evidence for the things they are saying.

For example.

'Even if we sign Muani or anyone else, they will be club signings not Ange signings.'

You have literally as much of a clue as anyone else.

It will 100% make a huge huge difference.

A keeper that can pass with confidence and break a teams high press will be an absolute game changer for how we play. If you can't understand or see that then what are we even talking about here? You clearly don't have a read on our tactics

Oh my god this is like talking to a brick wall. I literally said I am talking about vicario and Kinsky. Do you understand what I am talking about? Yes either of those keepers can play out from the back. You are simply over exaggerating it being a game changer because you are ignoring the fact we had vicario for over a year under Ange and we were still often shite.

All I see are the same faces making excuses for Ange. Whether it’s we need a ball playing keeper in the side, or injuries back, etc etc we had a ball playing keeper in vicario and we still lost often. Kinsky might be a marginal improvement on the ball, maybe, but he might be a worse shot stopper. We simply don’t know. Of course Forster was hugely detrimental to how we play. I’m not talking about that though.

Haha. It is well known the club is run in such a way that all signings are club signings as opposed to being wedded to a particular manager. If Ange leaves the idea will be to replace with another coach who has a similar philosophy so that we aren’t signing players who only suit Ange and they become deadwood. This is how modern clubs are run. I don’t need evidence when this is common knowledge.

A complete write off ? 😂. Strange take . I think it’s quite evident where we are. A mid table PL team . It’s not nice to admit, considering weve been around the CL places for the last 9 years.
You can deny it all you like but that’s the reality.

Mental isn’t it that fans are actually writing off a large part of our season and basically saying “Ange go again” don’t worry about the last 40 games. Not your fault. The last few (many) months have told us exactly where we are under Ange.

Great post! People like Richard and Pedro are in cookou land. The 4 trans around us have sacked their managers. I think Everton may have had a better calendar year than us in 24. We need to pick up some points otherwise the pressure will be on and we know how well spurs traditionally handle pressure. It is tight in the bottom half of the table. If we don’t get anything v goons then manure will climb above us as they play soton. Even spam and palace could catch us. For spurs to in 15th place would be shocking. Given the amount spent, 18 months in with Ange and his tactics, the talk of a title challenge never mind top 4/5. Absolute disgrace we have come down to this level and been overtaken by lesser teams and clubs. It’s really not acceptable but only for the blinkered.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Have a day off

Statistically this season before Vicario got injured we had the joint 3rd best defensive record in the league, so your pure guess work of us conceding 'lots of goals' is false, furthermore we were talking about playing out from the back and Vicario's stats when passing out were one of the best in the league.

Also this argument isn't about Ange's tactics so I have no idea what you're talking about here, we are discussing whether things improve if our better players our best/key players back on the pitch and regardless of our manager's setup or tactics you tend to win more matches because that's what tends to happen in football to every team none more so that us who are in are far better than our position suggests with or without this manager so I have no idea why you're trying to move the goalposts for?

You go onto quote our current run, you're basically ignoring the context of us having our better players missing and still think our form will carry on regardless of whether they'll be on the pitch or not just backs up my point of you creating doomsday scenarios :roflmao:

This is your problem you don't use any context or statistical based analysis when you argue, you live in a very black and white world and seemingly think that just because things are bad now, it will continue this way no matter whether we get our better players back on the pitch or not.

Every fucking team is shite sometimes.... players aren't robots. At this level the margins are so fine mate. Every little helps.

I think we are a midtable team when we have Fraser Forster in goal and are missing between 6-10 outfield players on top. When we've everyone fit then I think we are close to being a top 4 team.

Well if that’s what you seriously believe then fair play. Thats your belief. I think you going to be disapointed though. I personally don’t think
Don’t think We will see CL football again while ENIC are in charge
