We’ve seen this type of performance happen quite a bit at Spurs, reserve players losing (or about to lose) games against (much) inferior sides. I think today is more on the players, they have enough quality to beat a semi-amateur side ffs, with or without a fraud manager in charge. I can understand that they’d probably not want to get out of the first gear and most importantly, not get injured. But honestly, being quite close to witnessing the MOST embarrassing defeat in the history of this club, at a point where we’re not even at our lowest, is a bit difficult to comprehend. And the manager is surely not winning any 50/50 fans with crap like this game.

today shows you what can happen to players worth a fortune when they have a shit manager and a two bob coaching team for 18 months.

they would of went out and beat them on talent alone had the manager not handicapped them with a front line of moore/werner/johnson! the only way we was scoring before changes was through maddison providing a moment of quality. the manager is even handicapping us in the easiest of games now!

Even though it was a terrible watch, I understood going out slow and cautious in not wanting to take any risks. The slow response in subs and leaving Timo and Johnson on for so long is really indefensible though.
Could you please elaborate on what you meant by "risk"? What risk against a team of plumbers, electricians, and salespeople? What risk against a non-league team?

Tamworth poses a risk to Tottenham Hotspur?

He almost got the sack in Scotland when he lost on a synthetic pitch to a team of goat herders who were launching long throws into the box from the halfway line. This was so close to a repeat, Tamworth should have pinched it at the end.

Yes, it was pathetic but come on, this will be forgotten about soon.

Forgotten about by whom? I don't care if opposition fans forget about it. We as Spurs fans should be extremely concerned with the direction of travel of this club under Ange. I still remember how awful Coventry was. I remember us going out feebly last season in the cups. I remember our league form under Ange being horrendous (it's gotten worse).

Yes we are in the next round against NL team after extra time. WOW. Ange should still be sacked.

If I was a troll as Matt1882 Matt1882 claims, I’d be having all sorts of fun in this thread today.

There are some mortified people in here after a win.

But we played utter shit so I’ll leave everyone to have their whingewanks

Good Lord, the tears in here...actual grown men crying because we won a match.

If he hadn't started with Moore, Werner and Johnson then fans would have been furious that he is not using the squad and is exhausting the first team players !!!!! The geezer just cannot win with some folk
