Been on this site since mid-October, posting, reading and after 3 months I have come to the conclusion this site for most part attracts children who like shouting insults at one another in the playground. Rarely have I read 2-3 consecutive posts that debate before the insults prevail.

Enjoy your game kids!

This isn't an airport. Your departure doesn't need announcing.

Spiffing point, well-made ol' chap. You'll be sorely missed for your wonderful insights but I'm sure you'll enjoy the spherical indulgence over on SC!

No, it is pretty provable.

Data is there. For all the losses we were 3 points of 3rd after the City match - where we lost Romero and Vicario and then our PPG fell off a cliff. Like sheer fall into the abyss. The next game we played was against Fulahm, Forster in goal, Davies and Dragusin at CB - no Solanke even on the bench.... Then Bournmouth and no Dragusin - Davies and Gray at CB and Davies gets injured....

Forster was not a disaster when it came to shot stopping, but in terms of building up play from the back, breaking the press, passing to players in a way that didn't leave them in trouble and with more work to do than was necessary, he is chalk and cheese to even Vicario, let alone the kind of performance Kinsky put in vs Liverpool.

Either way, like I said, the data is there. And more data is there to show how difficult it is for anyone to beat the likes of Fulham, Bournemouth etc.... Not excusing the results just saying they categorically show a huge dip in points collected since the injuries happened.

We had 19 points after the City match.
24 points today. That type of form is difficulty to just snap out of. We saw how we finished the end of last season. With our best players on the pitch.

And Ange has to take some of the blame for not playing to his teams strengths / weaknesses. Our 2 first choice CBs are top class and elite. They were being isolated by the system we play but have the know how to deal with it. And in VDVs case the pure pace to get us out of trouble.

The two we have right now might be elite one day But they aren’t at this point in time. I think Gray in particular is going to be a great player. But not a CB.

So it’s absolutely mind blowing to me that people think we SHOULD go to the emirates and win with a 21 year old GK who has never played a PL game. and 2 centre backs with less than 1000 mins played between them this season. One of whom is 18 and keeps getting caught out of position as he’s not actually a defender.

And at some point this GK is going to make an error. He’s young it happens. That’s the game.
So I hope our supporters don’t pile in on him when it does occur. I’m just hoping it’s not today.

Anyway, even if you leave your multi will still be here. So it's not goodbye, just see you later.

Regarding our setpieces and any improvement....

Sign me up for this game. It could be chaos. It's the Tottenham way.

Much of that chaos could be raining down on Spurs from set pieces.

They still don't care about defending under Ange Postecoglou and they certainly don't care about being strong at defending set pieces. From all their corners faced this season, they are offering up a shot every 0.52 corners which is the worst record in the Premier League.

Step forward Gabiel then. The Brazilian has had 14 headed attempts in 18 Premier League games this season and is the key man for when Woolwich work their set piece magic.

Meanwhile, eight of the last 12 centre-backs to face Spurs have had an attempt at goal - including both of Wolves and Southampton's centre-halves.

Bro - we had that form because we played Liverpool, City, Woolwich and Chelsea all within 6 games of each other - games we hardly ever win despite the manager - and one of those - everyone wanted to lose anyway!

Agree with you about the rest though - that kind of form is difficult to shake off but I'm hoping we have turned a bit of a corner the last week.... the likelihood is that we haven't as history under this manager has shown, but a boy can dream!!

I said clearly, that beating Liverpool at home showed the team is more than capable of winning other PL games against lesser opposition. Basically, that the injuries are just an excuse. There is no reason why we wouldn't have picked up more points than we have, but Ange's appalling management is the reason why, not injuries. If a team is good enough to beat the top team in the league, it is capable of winning other games. If you can't see or acknowledge that, it's because you have an agenda.

If I wasn't a Spurs fan, I will find it hilarious when VDV and Romero come back and we are still losing games. I wonder what you will say then. Ange needs a summer window and more signings probably.

You are the one who said cast iron fact we'd have more points, and it's not provable.

Please click here: What is reading comprehension and why is it important?

Of course we should have picked up more points, once again are you actually reading and comprehending what i'm saying...I literally said that he's done an appaling job and he's lucky to still be the Spurs managers - can we get that out the way please because you keep bringing up the fact that i'm trying to mask his injuries as an excuse and I've already told you twice what I think of his managerial performance, it's unacceptable - If i had an agenda I wouldn't admit this, nor would I have continually said that if things carry on I want and expect him to be replaced come the end of the season

But I can be completely objective unlike you, I don't live in a delusional world of black and white unable to use nuance unlike you...if you want to dismiss our injury crisis then fine you do you but to deny it and say it hasn't made an iota of difference is incredibly foolish and exposes you to have an agenda because you're unable to use context, which is typical of you and by the way it's not an excuse it's a factor,,,the same factors as to why City have been struggling this season without Rodri, the same reason why Woolwich cannot suddenly attack etc...but you're make all the excuses for them hence why you sound like a rival fan.

People on here are so entrenched with their views debate is difficult.
You won’t change anybody’s mind with a post that’s 50 words.
Make a longer post and people either don’t read it or sone joker posts “OK”. So you’ve wasted your time.

Best just to join in the playground frivolity and treat this place for what it is. A bit of fun. It’s not going to change the world!

Ok
