I am amazed how people are “absolutely 100% certain” we aren’t getting relegated. If this shit continues we just might. Football is a confidence game and this team don’t have any right now. So we are reduced to getting favours in Everton losing tonight.

Plus we are now expecting this fucking mug to gee up the team, work some tactical magic and start getting results. If we lose Sunday we are in the shit. Make no bones about it.
I mean nothing is ever certain but there are at least three teams worse than us. Southampton and Leicester are proper fucked. Ipswich have a bit of fight but lack quality.

We might finish 16th or 17th but we propanoy (hopefully) won’t get sucked into it. Unless we start losing specifically to them.

He has a free pass from the board until that second leg at Anfield. We go through to the final and he’ll keep hold for a while longer.

Such a total disaster of a situation for us fans as we all clearly want to win a trophy but this man is leading us to the bottom at record speed in the league.
this idea that hes going to win a trophy is hilarious. where has this belief come from looool? cos he said he wins stuff in his second year? hes not even managed at a level as high as the championship looool. its beyond bonkers.

Meanwhile.

*Live scenes from the Shadydan Shadydan household as we suffer yet another NLD defeat and sit 13th in the table, level on points with Crystal Palace*

Wait you accuse me of not showing any passion when we lose but the first thing you do is try and act the 🤡 literally straight after NLD loss :gallashmm:

Interesting...

I have been Ange in all along, happy to build a project etc. But tonight's performance was unacceptable. Naive. Appalling. Still just about giving him the benefit of the doubt as we've had bad injures and our better players that can still walk have been massively over played (Porro, Kulusevski, Solanke). But we need a proper LWF and a RWF. Son, Johnson, Kulsevski (as a RWF) and Werner are all shit in this system.

This has largely been my feeling also. But it was shambolic tonight... to the point of insanity. If we don't have fit/capable players to execute the game plan, namely playing out of the back and carrying the ball through the midfield, then fucking adapt. There were some exceptionally poor decisions and mistakes from the players (Spence, Biss, Porro) but it comes down to what is being asked of them. I am not Ange out... but I am not Ange in anymore. I am apathetic.

I am right there with you. I’m just looking at this from what I actually believe the board are thinking.

We sacked Jose a week before a final because of league results and I think they know that was a mistake and won’t want to repeat it again even though they absolutely should because Ange ain’t no Jose.

Yes, but it wasn't against the run of play against Newcastle at home and still the same result.

Regardless of the run of play, it is very rare for us to defend an early lead against a big team, when all it takes is defending our own third.
It was so early against Newcastle that nobody had a chance to take control.

We're shit. We have the odd decent performance out of nowhere but make no mistake, 9 times out of 10, we'll be absolutely schooled in these games.

He should have really gone after Ipswich, you could see the trajectory of the side and how badly coached they are. It might have saved our league season. They clearly would like to give him the season but there has to be a tipping point or we could really end up on the fringes of the relegation scrap, Palace have caught us now. Surely anything less than 4pts to Everton and Leicester that has to be it?
A big par of it I think is Levy actually can’t see how badly coached they are
