Think all of us would get behind him if this was a blip but last 18 months after the initial 10 games last season has been absolutely dreadful. On top of that we turn up for local derbies like they don't give a shit. Manager certainly doesn't. System of play is ridiculous. Hanging the players out to dry and more importantly causing alot muscle injuries.

Regardless of how much was down to him, he did break us into the top 6 from lower-midtable, the only team to do that without oil-money billions, then almost won us the league and CL on a zero net spend under Poch. Built the stadium which is now raining money. All while the owners of Everton, Villa, Leeds etc were destroying their clubs.

For the record I don't like Levy. He's a real-estate developer who knows fuck all about football and lucked out on Poch and Redknapp. But to act like he's the biggest problem in the club right now is frankly delusional. All of you wishing for him to be gone have to point out which other owner you would take from the league. And then realise that in all likelihood we'd likely just get a Boehly or an oil state.

The good news is he is on £1 million a year so we could offer him 5X his salary , sadly I don’t think it would make much of a difference , whoever we get in is going to struggle

When he was first announced, an article was run on him and how he manages his team and staff. The journalist described that he was always in control and that, in one particular meeting, someone made a suggestion and he said 'if I want your opinion, I'll ask for it'. I think we were supposed to see this as an example of an extremely impressive, decisive coach.

I just thought 'sounds like a bit of a cunt'.

You've made a great point. No arguments from me with regards to decent managers prepared to risk their reputation working for Levy...

But.....If the only reason for keeping him in his job is that nobody else will want it, then that's a very, very poor argument for not firing him
