Well, with our broken squad, we have beaten Villa, United (twice), City (twice), Liverpool; and managed to go 2-0 up against Chelsea until our players got out their sick notes.

So, the real question we have.

1. Who do you fancy to win the League Cup? Ange who has knocked out City, United and taken us into the 2nd leg with Liverpool with an advantage, or someone else?
2. Europa League is our primary target this season. 10 games left to win it. If Ange can get Romero, VDV, Udogie back, do we have a chance of winning this?

Or do you prefer to abandon the comps, and focus on 'stay up'

3. Premier League. Sure, we can bring in an emergency Pulis to keep us up - but where does that leave us next season when the players are fit again?

What about Ange's record vs Woolwich and Newcastle fills you with the confidence that we've got a chance? Even if we somehow manage to scrape through against Liverpool, he has taken 4 points from an available 24 in the league against those two teams. It amazes me that people think we're gonna come away from Anfield with anything tbh, does anyone really think this team under this manager has the fight and desire to beat a side that talented in a game with qualification on the line? They had their foot off the gas against us in the first leg and still spurned half a dozen chances to score. We are not winning a cup under this joker, I really don't understand how anyone still hasn't dispelled themselves of that notion.

wow!!!

iraola is 6/4 with bet victor to be next manager!!!
Means fuck all sadly. Just punters lumping cash on the most obvious names, and Iraola is the present flavour of the month. Doubt there's anything more to it than that.

For what it's worth, he's second favourite on most sites after Terzic. Who I wouldn't be interested in, given what I've heard from Dortmund fans. Nor do I think Iraola (or Silva, McKenna, etc) would join us midseason.

IMO we just need someone to get us to the summer & then have our pick of the good managers then.

As for that Ornstein video, Jesus H christ is it terrifying. Let's hope he's just being fed some bullshit PR by the board. If they genuinely still think Ange is a good manager then this club is doomed. This board will continue to take us down the league. Maybe not relegation, not yet, but back to being bottom half regulars in the next few years, no question. We're fucking finished, because if they think Ange is good they have no idea what makes a good coach and therefore there's zero chance they'll make the right call on the next manager. Maybe they strike it lucky like with Poch or Redknapp, but 2 in 25 years ain't good odds. Blind idiots throwing darts at a board would do better.

I know you will...just like the rest of the "I can't be wrong" holdouts. Just like your weird hatred of Poch...

...there it is...and with his ragtag outfit he took 6 points off us head to head...and truly exposed Ange for the fraud that he is...we all know who the better coach is...
Ignore him, he's just in meltdown mode given the bloke he's been touting as a tactical genius for 18 months has been outed as a complete fraud.

It's one of only three things Ange is basically has full Svengali like powers and Levy is hypnotised, we have incoming owners even in part who want a say, or most likely, we have tapped up Iraola or Silva and they have agreed to come in the summer and will not walk out of their teams. The last seems most plausible.
You’d think if they really were keeping Ange they’d at least try to buy us another attacker to help avoid relegation, eh?

We might still be in three cups but we won't be if we go into crunch games with Ange at the wheel.
Pool will annihilate us if we try play Ange ball at Anfield, Villa will likely beat us as well, unless we get a few back and get them on an off day.

What about those crunch games against City, United and the first leg against Liverpool? Do those performances not count?

We sat back against Woolwich and absorbed pressure quite well. We got the first goal, but were unlucky that Solanke scored at the wrong end.

Hmm its a might and the league table isn't really the priority for me now. Its the cups and we are annoyingly inconsistent but we are capable of playing well and beating teams in patches so getting to a cup final isn't impossible.

I honestly can;t deal with us having Mason in charge for another cup final! So I'm happy to keep Ange until after the Liverpool game anyway
Mason lost 1-0 to City in what was his first game in charge. A game we arguably should have been a man up in.

If we get to the final against Woolwich or Newcastle do you reckon we lose by a single goal under Ange?

its scary how oblivious they are then. the players have jacked it in, if hes not sacked we could legit go down.

cant beat a non league side and are 3-0 down to everton in 45....that only happens when theyve given up on the manager.

I've had my theories on why it hasn't happened already, but I've got a new, worrying one.

They think we're too good to go down and happy to just coast to the end of the season.

We really aren't too good. In fact, based on form in the last 6-10 games, we'd be one of the favourites to go.

Yeah.
We'll get 2 injury time goals to make it 4-3
And the cultists will all have a party at nearly getting a draw.

he will be injured on 31st Jan and no time to replace him

so glad you said this because I think some fans in here have the same mentality. We’re too big to go down?
we are 8 points above relegation with 16 games to go. That’s way too close. One loss and we’re within 5? And we can’t win to save our lives?

He really needs to go immediately and get a caretaker in.

Maybe mason will be a bit better now he isn’t friends with all the players from his playing days as most of our swuad weren’t around when he played, just means that level of respect may be different.

Definitely not the answer though and I don’t actually want him as caretaker again either but I do think we would stay up with Mason but with Ange, it’s all our attack an the issues is our defence - which is what keeps you up
