watched some of the ipswich game, the difference KDB makes for them is a joke. its amazing what that one special midfielder can do, as long as the rest are competent footballers. his use of the ball is pretty much immaculate, he punishes teams with his I.Q and technique.
He looked back to his best. Everything was crisp and sharp and he sees his next pass before he gets the ball. He’s still a brilliant footballer.

oh hes unreal. one of the few players that you actually watch when hes on because hes that fucking good. for me hes the best player the prems ever seen standard wise.

when city have him and rodri back together they are the best team in the world again by a distance.

Squads should just get bigger - Chelsea size.

I like more football, but 25 players isn’t enough for the top teams, why not let them have 40 so managers can rotate better
Everyone is moving to the Chelsea model now. Liverpool have a big squad too. City and Spurs have been punished this year, Newcastle and United were last year. Teams will all move that direction now. 60 games a season if you are competitve in the cups and Europe is crazy. At least 10 years ago there would be alot of "easy" premier league fixtures where teams could rotate but the league is so competitve now that you can't rotate at all!

All things considered, a narrative around him "losing the dressing room" wouldn't be the worst thing for him actually. It'd allow him to save face if/when he gets the sack, by portraying him as this martyr who was hard done by his nonbeliever players and other mitigating circumstances. If he's not turning things around here, that's the best he can get.

He won't get another job this big, but damage limitation should still be of the utmost importance for him. "Losing the dressing room" accomplishes just that, so if I were him I wouldn't be too bothered about it.
