Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yes he has a bit but did he start Spence v cov? No. He only came on when destiny got injured. Add in that Spence and reg arnt even in the EL squad so cannot rotate much there with FBs.

Ok so he didn't rptate everyone.....but he did rotate. There is proof.

No manager goes into cup games and plays 11 different players to the league.... you're asking for something that is unrealistic in that sense, and he even still did rotate in terms of playing different first team defenders in every game I listed.

Ok so he has rotated then why does everyone go on about Ange running players into the ground. If they have been rotated then they can’t be all on their last legs.

What world are YOU living in? Spurs have been a consistent top 4/6 side for years. Winning a fucking league cup wouldn’t excuse our worst league season in a millennia.

Last five seasons one Top 4. Slippery slope.

Mourinho 6th
Mason 7th
Conte 4th
Mason 8th
Ange 5th
This year ?????

Well it has to be

Mason 9th

if we want to continue the pattern!!

The fact that this is true

Is the reason this isn't true.

This is not a discussion of the grand cosmic value of the Carabao Cup in a vacuum. This is the specific matter of the trophy drought that is tearing this club to pieces being broken after running through City, United, Liverpool and Newcastle on the trot.

That would be an extraordinary accomplishment to live long in the proud history of this great club, and Andoni Iraola would have to be clinically insane to take a job that would sack a manager having accomplished it within Daniel Levy's straightjacket.

It's written on the fucking wall, mate

Hard to argue against this I’m afraid.
IF we were to win the tinpot trophy having dispatched City, United, Liverpool (over two legs) & either goons or barcodes, then as tinpot as the cup may be in the scheme of cups, you have to look at the teams you beat to win it. I’m not having this bollocks that they played weakened teams or had bigger things on. We’ve been hindered badly with injuries all year - probably down to Ange but that’s a different argument - and have been juggling the same number of fixtures including Europe.
Winning this tinpot cup would be a great achievement purely because of the road to it.
Will we go to anfield and finish the job? Can we get enough players back to then go to Wembley and do the job there? To be honest I have my doubts but to try and take anything away from us if we won it is 100% trolling bullshit from non spurs posters.

Whether it’s good enough to justify another season of Angeball is again another argument.

Yeah I get it mate, the Postecoglites are nuts. I didn’t need ANOTHER reminder.

Biggest game of the season so far for Ange today in my opinion.

Win and we're 11 clear of the relegation zone, and Levy will let him see the season out.

Lose and he's gone tonight.

Draw and I honestly don't know. He maybe just survives. Gets the Pool game and that could be it.

we’ve still got at least 21 games to go….poss 30’ish. it’s simply too early to decide on Ange. He’s made some shocking mistakes this season but i do sense he’s learning from them so there’s a world in which he turns this form around and it ends well. If that happens eg we adapt tactics, win games and find form in the PL and win a cup (ideally Europa) , I don’t see him moving on.

Either way, I hope we are brave and make the best decision regardless of a cup win. Changing coach post season shouldn’t be seen as a terrifying, nuclear option. Coaches quickly get fatigued with the club and Levy so making a change could be in everyone’s interests (including Ange)

I’ll be fuming if we draw but Leicester have to beat us to catch us. A draw isn’t good enough for them. Ditto Ipswich. As long as we win these two games I’m pretty confident that 30 points will keep us up. They won’t make up 10-13 points on us with their remaining fixtures.

Sorry state of affairs, I know. But these fuckers owe us a premier league performance. Beating Leicester gives us the opportunity to rest against Brentford ahead of the second leg against the Dippers. The Premier League is gone, europe next year by league position is gone. Premier league stability then all in on the cups.

We could lose 50 nil today and I still don't think Baldy will get off his arse and do anything

We are stuck with him for the foreseeable, I'm just praying we scrape enough points together to avoid a proper relegation battle
