I’ve noticed this too - no analysis/feedback after games.

Be afraid, be very afraid!
Players past and present are saying we do no tactical work and Ange isn’t even on the training pitch and doesn’t to talk to them individually. Radu the most recent.

It’s no wonder we are in the shit. It worked for 10 games with a huge amount of luck too in a couple of those games. It’s been utter tripe since. Because - shock - it’s been found out and nullified.

Big 10 days for Ange. Do or die for his future. Odds are he’s probably a goner but at its best Ange ball is the best football we’ve seen at Spurs in the PL era and it’s not close.

Sure, it’s risky and fragile when everything isn’t clicking and we are a mess atm but when it is, we’ve done it to every level of team and battered them.

alot of good work from pape sarr in those clips, his form has been toilet this season.

also the energy is much higher, lots of sprints. We needed to sign a ton of players in the summer to keep the system ticking over

Looking towards to the next 4 games I can honestly see a win on Thursday and probably 3 defeats as we won’t have any players returning that will be up to full speed.

We are obviously not sacking Ange just now and the probability we won’t strengthen the squad.

At this moment there will be so many managers that will look at us and think “I could turn that around easily with those players”. Also add in the fact we are fighting for three cups and the wages we do pay managers then we are a big pull even now.

Flip side to that and the likeliest outcome is we wait till after the Villa game before removing Ange after another league defeat and out both domestic cups. That is the disaster that awaits us and then managers out there will not think we are as decent of an option for them.

14 days in football is a long time and these next two weeks are massive for this club.

I hope I’m wrong but I think this might get worse before it gets better.

It’s not the best football we’ve seen. Poch and Arry were much better. Under Redknapp we attacked on the wings and unlike Ange had guys like Sarge and then Sandro bossing in DM. Under Poch we’re were amazing, balanced, pressing, defensively organized and even god forbid long passes from defenders splitting teams open.

I not going to say there has not been amazing moments under Ange, especially when playing out from the back ends in a goal. But I’ve not seen a worse manager ever at Spurs. What a disorganized, idiosyncratic mess we are in.

Redknapp was just a kick about with talented players. As soon as we played anyone organized we ended up seeing none of the ball. Loved it because it had character but it wasn’t better.

Poch had better counter attacks than anyone in the league but it was like watching Rugby at times. We used to kick it out of play in their half so we could press them. We really had no ideas or patterns if Eriksen didn’t find a pass.

This guy needs to be studied for science, honestly.

The mental gymnastics people online will do to convince themselves that he’s actually a great coach hamstrung by absolutely everything the world can throw at him, despite every single piece of evidence that whilst yes, there is some mitigation for us being SO bad, the main factor is, he just isn’t a good football manager is actually genuinely quite impressive.

I’m actually genuinely impressed people have bought into him to this level.

Yet, both are absolute universes above this guy and ‘Pub Ball’.

When we play anyone organised now we get turned over, we have no ideas or patterns now either.

I’m genuinely surprised Ange doesn’t just stand there and shout “charge”.

Both Redknapp and Poch of course had faults, but we didn’t turn up every week and watch the opposition stroll about in our midfield with no challenge within 15 yards whilst our full backs lean against their goalposts asking the keeper how his weekend was.

We’ve had managers with bad tactics, but Ange has NO tactics. We look completely uncoached and clueless, I’m actually impressed by anyone at this point who can even try and string together an argument that this is in any way good or fun to watch.

Spurs fans are very fickle ,I have come to the conclusion I am one of the worst . All the things I found endearing about Ange I find really irritating now .

People say we lose to “anyone organized” I don’t really see any pattern other than our own energy levels. We’ve beaten and been beaten by all different types of team. From Liverpool and City to Leicester and Southampton.

The only real pattern I see is that we play a high risk, high reward style that relies on physical domination. When we can’t dominate the front third with our press and give the ball away with sloppy passes, we look way too easy to play through. When we can dominate teams physically, we suffocate them and give up very very little.

In practice there’s really not a lot difference to the way city play and the issues they had this season when they struggled physically.

Ange’s issue is not having no ideas, it’s that he’s stubborn about sticking to one idea.

Postecoglou is also a big part of the team's hopes of establishing its brand in the Pacific rim. Ties in also with Munn's selection. Spurs seem to have a bigger investment than most teams make in a manager's success. Then there are the City Group ties. Fire Postecoglou and you don't just have a failed manager, but also a botched branding effort.
More evidence that our branding is more important than the actual team.

No point engaging with them now. The people that thought Ange had discovered a cheat code that allows football to be played on a higher plain wont admit they were wrong.

When he inevitably gets the justified, long overdue sack they will then fall into 2 categories. Those that will say it could have worked but a change had to be made and those that will find constant fault in the new manager despite what will be a clear and obvious improvement. Saw it with Ramos/Redknapp.

Its a lot easier to con people than prove to them they've been conned.

34% win ratio in the league since we beat Palace 3-1 there.

That was what 10 months ago? Since when have we been close to playing stuff like that this season exactly?

Were they as swashbuckling with a strong side against Ipswich at home? Don't think so.

Under Ange in the league.

Played Woolwich 4 times
Lost 3.
Played Newcastle 4 times.
Lost 3

Played Chelsea 3 times.
Lost 3.
Played Liverpool 3 times.
Lost 2
And the two games to come against these two clubs are away. Places we never win!

So I’m not seeing us being world beaters just yet.

We just need to start not losing to absolutely shite teams!! That would be good!! Put my mind at rest.

When it works it might be high risk and high reward. But 1 point from the last 21 or 30 from the last 90 available is more like high risk no reward. Stubbornly carrying on with this plan gets him his P45 and us into relegation trouble.

One thing being optimistic, another being totally naive. I love attacking football but not without the backing of a half-decent defence.
Also, as already mentioned, Poch and 'Arry 's teams were much more entertaining and managed a few wins too.
I really wanted Ange to succeed but his tenure has turned out to be a total nightmare, time to wake up before it's too late.
