Really interesting what Fabregas says here from about 4:52

Talking about putting an extra defender on at 1-0 up and how that mentally effects the players on the pitch to sit deeper and invite pressure. 80/90% of the time that results in you conceding, even if the traditional "tactical" wisdom says you should sit deeper and hit on the counter.

Interesting all round discussion about moving away from the ultra structured, data and physicality dominated football.

Tally ho old chap!

Spiffing day here in Blighty with my teapot of Earl Grey and an afternoon of Dame Vera Lynn songs on the gramophone.

And as I used to tell my fag at Eton. Don’t let those buggers get you down! It’s just not cricket.
Yes, one of the enlisted men i had used to tend the grounds at Eton
Silly fellow, got one in the leg at Ypres. Lovely sister though, thoroughly good sport and all
With all the Australians rushing the Bosch trenches I was surprised they had bullets left for us chaps what what

We've all seen this a trillion times in our football watching life. Is there a better way? Worth an experiment in my book.
