Ange yesterday in press conference. I've failed failed to unify club and team. Add to that over recent months saying bad results are my responsibility. Surely he has to be sacked in summer if no silverware.

15th, possibly 16th after this weekend in our 2nd trophy winning season. Please tell me another life story Mister (with a steely gaze face).

Ange cultists will say it is this way by design. And our problems are just down to not big enough squad. Just imagine what we could achieve with 35 players! (cause 25 players + academy guys we had at the start of season left him short). That would allow Ange to play his football, keep everyone fresh and avoid injuries. And produce.

Just don't tell them others do not play with this intensity not because they are stupid or outsmarted by Ange. Sad part is other teams and managers know you can register only 25 guys, then load and the way you play needs to accomodate those limitations.

I just watched the Ange PC. I think even he's surprised he's still here. He's not got anything to defend himself with. He says the form hasn't been good enough full stop. He talks about being in cups and making it a special season. There's no way he thinks this team is winning a trophy and what he forgets is, for us the fans, lthe league is our bread and butter. I don't give a fk about europe if we are 15th in the league. He looks like a dead man walking to be honest.

Reckon the bullet comes next week.

Hope you’re right but we’ve been saying that for a while!

I’ve been saying it since the Chavs disaster last season!

Its possible they didnt want to sack him in December/January in order to not interfere with transfer window. But seems it was affected anyway.

If you’re trying to operate in a Brighton manner, then you buy a player to fit an ethos that the club will play irrespective of who the manager is. The manager should be an interchangeable piece with only minor tweaks to the overall style of play.

I think the biggest hurdle to signings is our current league position and the doubt hanging over the manager’s future. It’s a pretty hard sell for the manager to speak to a transfer target, with the player thinking to himself ‘Will you even be here in a couple, of weeks?’.

That's was exactly my point like you wrote in 2nd paragraph.

You sack Ange during window or just before - you prolly have then interim manager who won't convince player. You keep Ange and keep losing as well - Ange even as permanent manager has no leverage to convince player as well

Also I don’t ever want to hear the argument Levy has stepped away from the football.

Clearly he hasn’t and clearly he never will. Honest John Honest John you where right on that, I thought with Munn, Lange and Paratici he would stay away but I got that totally wrong.
