I can't even bring myself to be mad at him, as he's just another victim of Peter Principle. You could argue that he should have shown some humility and self-awareness by never taking the job in the first place, or should have left of his own accord long time ago, but we know managers never do either. He fancied himself for the challenge, has been failing/failed miserably, and is now expecting to be put out of his misery. I'd argue that this experiment is also hurting his stock and career prospects at this point, in addition to all the damage it has been causing to this club for months.

Levy/board have put all their eggs in Ange basket in the context of this season, and now they can't find a way out because the damage is already done. That's me assuming that they don't see all this as a bump in the road and still somehow fancy the guy as a viable long term option by the way. It wouldn't shock me if they chose this guy as their hill to die on, but it would be hilarious regardless.

Pretty baffling subs again tonight. Bissouma wasn’t great but is at least more mobile and involved than Bentancur who was plodding around doing the square route of fuck all all night. Kulusevski could shit on Ange’s face and not get subbed.

Bentancur’s, Gray, Kulusevski for Bergval (Bissouma back to 6) Porro and Moore on leaving Spence as LB should have been the call.

I get that Porro is knackered and hasn’t been great but starting Gray over him for this game was odd.

Almost like the guy hasn't got a clue what he is doing

I don't want to hear anyone talk about these players playing for Ange. Are they fuck.

That tonight, was not a team playing for Ange. It was pathetic. They are just taking the easy ride. They have no belief in this fraud at all.
I agree with this , but , they aren't even playing for the supporters or themselves , if nothing else show some pride in your own game . They simply don't care .

Richard Arlison says he'll switch to Ange out if Ange loses vs Villa on Sunday.

The curtain appears to be closing, finally.

Wonderful. He will turn on the glorious leader once the enemy army have rolled in to the capital city.

In other news, nothing was learned from this defeat by anybody who hasn’t been high on meth all season.

Nothing new to add about the manager or his situation at the club until he is finally sacked. People who say stuff like ‘we’ve won 3 of 5!’ when it includes Elfsborg and Hoffenheim are not worth taking seriously.

If Ange is still manager at the start of next season (hopefully in the Premier League) I foresee another unforeseen "injury crisis" happening.
levy shouldn't be worrying about the cost of sacking postecoglou, he should be worrying about the squad value nosediving by keeping him in, that will far outweigh what you have to pay this clown to fuck off back to pub football. players constantly getting injured makes their value drop, let alone finishing in the bottom half.

Danso and Tel's agents rn.

Are they really injured though? That's what I was getting at. Basically the "blue flu" for footballers.

It’s half time in the tie. Meaningless until you finish the job at Anfield.

Seen results like this so many times under him, little false dawn and then back to normal next match.

.. and this was why I wasn’t bouncing off the walls after that result. Not because I hate spurs but because under this man I had zero faith it would count for a single thing.

So so tired under this manager. Have never felt so hopeless following the club. Or so infuriated at a portion of our fans for essentially deciding being a fan is about loyalty at all costs no matter what logic tells you. They have damaged us by supporting this man unto death.

Said it before - I don’t hate or even dislike Ange. He is just an under qualified man doing a job he is out of his depth for. I have no doubt he has tried his best or that he wants us to do well. Nor would I expect him to turn down huge compensation money and resign.

I hate the enablers who have enjoyed a smug, self satisfied feeling out of still backing a manager as he drags us down the table and in to the mud. I hate them because every time we’ve won one game in 5 or 6 they come back and seem to think it justifies their dumb stances.
