Usually I rate this guy's content. But fuck me, it's like he's not watched a proper game of ours under Ange. Just regurgitating stats and spouting off about our goal difference, as if walloping Lopetegui's Spam and a 10 men Ten Hag united in crisis is something to crow about. Anyone with eyes who's been forced to watch us week in week out by now knows how utterly uncoached this team is, with or without our first XI available.

Caught up on Ange's post-match presser. Getting embarrassing listening to him bleat on about injuries now.

I don't understand why he thinks his responsibility can be separated from the injuries. Our injuries are caused by his ridiculous style of football.

We can't have a squad of 45 players just to handle his demands. If he is here next season there will be another injury crisis (like there was last season) so what are we doing here?

Well it looks like Fab is on the case and we know the useless bald turd listens to him.
Did anyone find out what Munn does yet?
The same Fab that convinced Levy to hire Nuno? Forgive me for not breaking out the bunting.

Paratici can identify a player, roughly half the time. But a good judge of managers he is not.

As for the rumours, apparently he wants Inzaghi. Why Inzaghi would give up Inter to come and manage this shitshow I don't know.

I also don't just see why we don't go for the likes of Iraola or McKenna. Proven Prem managers who know the league and would champ at the bit to be given a chance at a club of our stature. Trust Levy to be given a complete fucking open goal this summer and miss.

Inzaghi is obviously a talented manager but he gives me serious Conte vibes. In style, tactics, demeanour, everything. Big risk.

Cant see him being with us next season. Been a disaster. Amount of Injuries weve had under him.

‘Casual’

WTF does that mean?

You’re either Spurs or you’re not!

No half measures!

Amazing comment and you wonder why a few on here have a go at you?
You can’t figure it out?
As in following from afar. From another continent.
You know, as much as some of you follow an NFL or NBA team!
The acrimony on this forum. You all seriously need some nice weather. It does wonders for your mood.

Some of us do follow from other continents, however we wouldn't consider our connection to the club to be "casual"- something more like "tragically addicted to" or "cursedly obsessed with" is more appropriate.

Well I’ve been watching matches at 4-5am, spent $$$ on multiple subscriptions to watch, have gone to work on 3 hours sleep after watching a game, and put myself through the wringer of this forum, for a start.
But would still consider myself a casual fan.
And I don’t see whats wrong with that.
I would add though that the first and last thing I do each day is check for any Tottenham news. So maybe it’s a tad more than casual????

Inter currently 2nd, lost 2 games all season and massively outscored everyone (well, 2 more than Atalanta, but everyone else) else in Serie A

At Lazio he had a 53% win ratio. +138 GD in 251 games
Inter, where he's been since 2021 he has a 66% win ratio and +227 GD in 192 games.

I like the sound of those numbers.

Can bring Martinez with him too.
Yes please 🙏

That's a nice excuse but rotation is rotation and if we hold Ange accountable for this squad construction then the same is true for Conte.
I don't think it's particularly fair to compare the two in terms of backing received for squad construction, though. Conte was only here for 3 windows, now I will grant you Ange didn't exactly receive a ton of backing in either of his January windows, but compare either of Ange's summer windows in terms of spend and quality of players brought in it's no comparison. Conte got completely shafted.
Honestly I remember the pure depression of how predictable his team selections were. Maybe he was right though because when he did finally rotate:
That's why my opinion is quite soft on Conte tbh, I know the football wasn't good in the second season but he was so inadequately backed, really that's who we should have been fucking up in arms over, the fact that man actually spoke up on behalf of the fans against the board and Levy and yet continues to get lambasted on here actually somewhat surprises me, not to mention it's quite clear from his first 6 months if we had given him a massive warchest to build a title winning team we could have pressed that season.

City only got 89 points, the 2nd lowest winning total in the league since the Leicester season in 2015/16. I think if you extrapolate his form from when he took over to the end of his first season it worked out to be about a 90 point total, I genuinely believe if he had been given say £300m and a significant bump in the wage budget to do whatever he wanted with we would have at a minimum a league or FA cup now. The guy will win Serie A this season and continue to win wherever he goes.

I remember reading that Conte hardly rotated at Inter either and he had a reputation for winning leagues when he was out fo Europe already, or not doing great in Europe because all the energy went on the league. He is very much a starting 11 tyoe of coach with very very minimal rotation around the edges. He has guys he trusts and that is who is playing 95% of the time.
To be fair Italy and the PL are the only two "flavour" leagues out of the big 5 at the moment where conceivably 3 or more teams have a chance of winning it with the right run of form and luck. How many managers in these leagues can mount a successful title challenge AND win a European competition in the same season? Klopp couldn't do both, he had to do them one at a time.
