How many of those passes were in the final third ? How many of those shots apart from the goal which counts as two shots, were classed as a half a decent opportunity ?

200 were considered to be into the final third
18 were key passes
22 Shots counted

We are shit, the footballs shit, our position is shit, we are out of all domestic cups because we’re shit, and we have no reason to believe anything will continue to be anything other than shit.

Sorry if that hurts your feelings but frankly you’ve been wrong all season so I couldn’t give a solitary fuck.
Fuck sake- can you be a morbid dipstick more
Join the living life of a fkn win
Wow, like…, wow you are a tool with this nonsense

Yeah.

I couldn't give 2 shits right now if we look poor and win games.

And fans desperate for Amge to go shouldn't either.
I think you're right. Win or lose Spurs aren't doing anything with him until after the season ends and probably not then. There are only two things that could cost him his job at this point. First would be if at the end of the season they conclude his playing style and practice routines are damaging their assets (players). Second would be if he let's his temper get away from him in a major way. He can probably take a run at the media, but not the fans or Levy and the board. I think that's more possible than you might imagine because his response to pressure or perceived criticism is not good.

Quite an interesting read that.
The gap from 4th, to England in 5th would be mind blowing if it wasn't obvious tbh. All the whining about why there aren't enough English managers seems to ignore the fact there aren't (m)any worth having tbh.

Someone slated Italians recently, no doubt butt hurt from Conte saying nasty things about Spurs, but the truth is, they have produced more successful managers than other countries.

Can't wait for Ange to single handedly put Australia on this list*

*That was a joke.

See, this is the polar opposite to all the Conte haters. I said when we got Ange that fans would soon get fed up with "pretty football" and getting beat, but they were adamant they wouldn't.

I guess the context is different here - I was ok with the shit football under Conte as part of the process - but the players clearly not and he was just adding to the toxicity constantly.

If you don't want Ange here, and you think he will probably be gone at the end of the season then winning whatever games we can good, bad or ugly - id image you (not you - the royal you) would be too jaded right now to not care - i mean, especially jaded enough to not log onto football forum and type a load of shit you have typed before about how much you hate him and how shit we are - especially after a win.

I guess the one issue is that if he keeps winning games while we are playing shit - he might just get another crack next season

End of the day, if we finish strongly, he's earned another season, hasn't he?
I'm not that entrenched in Ange-out that we could win the ropey league and increase our PPG to top 4 levels in the remaining games and still want him gone.
My view is he simply can't do that, so it's not a situation I would have to deal with.

In my opinion, there is only pressure on Ange if you're the sort of person that thinks injuries are meaningless and it should be 'one soldier in, one soldier out... and it doesn't matter if your top players are out, and that 18 year olds can perform like seasoned veterans..

Perhaps there is some good understanding internally within the club that context matters, rather than the fugazi from the media and the average punter... and that's why he hasn't been sacked.

Fulham Away, Newc Away, Chelsea away, Liverpool away, Palace away, Ipswich home, Gala away, Brighton 2nd half, the circus of the last 30 minutes of Bournemouth away - utterly dreadful performances with a FULL TEAM available that for many fans, drew plenty of alarm bells before this current spell of injuries.

I would imagine the club have kept him on with some sympathy of the injury situation + if/when a replacement is needed there is far more chance of getting the right one in the summer.

Regardless of anything, he's got 3 months now, with his players coming back, to prove that he deserves more time and patience past the summer. Obviously there will be both different subjective and objective measures amongst us as to what that proof needs to look like. But surely Sunday most definitely wasn't it - in any way, shape or form. A United team that couldn't tie its own shoelaces had chances to put us in real trouble, because yet again we weren't nearly clinical enough at the other end to compensate for how Angeball (and who the fuck knows what Angeball even is anymore) willingly sacrifices defensive solidity. We'll see if Ipswich is more convincing.

The majority of people on this site are utterly convinced Ange isn't good enough at this level. We all hope to be proved wrong.

But we won't be.

Hey Matt1882 Matt1882 - Dudu doesn't like your negativity and wishes you would simply go away and not post rather than bring your point of view into his forum. Would you mind self-censoring for the sake of his mental wellness?
