Just reading Ali G’s article about Ange’s presser last night, he like Richard Arlison Richard Arlison was saying that Ange was really narky for no reason with the media - both mainstream with the press and in house with the Spurs media guys.

Why?

Is the pressure getting to him? Is he fed up with the job? Or does he know that he’s toast?

It’s because he’s a very unpleasant person.

In other words, he’s a bit of a prick. I feel sorry for his missus. Having to endure that sour face all day.

There was definitely something out of the ordinary going on. He can be a cunt after a loss but usually pre-game he's joking and having a laugh with the media.

If we find out later something has gone on behind the scenes, it really wouldn't be a surprise.

Ultimately Wenger was a punt by Dein that worked out big , big time .

Like Mon Mome and Foinavon winning the National at 100-1 ( 67 and 09 ; both in my lifetime) . It can happen , though not very often.

Dein got ( very , very ) lucky and thereby did the goons (fuc4 ’em ) .

Our esteemed leadership tried to emulate them in hiring an unknown , largely untried , Continental coaching prodigy and in their wisdom brought us ……Christian Gross . A 100 - 1 shot that refused at the first fence and then fell over .

Unpredictable / unlikely things happen seldomly; for very good reasons .

You don't get lucky unless you roll the dice though.
I'll never have a problem with us throwing the dice every few years if we are struggling like now.

He's had 30 years of nonsense level football. All of a sudden he finds his job is bloody hard because this isn't pub league stuff or a 1 team league.

That’s pretty much what Gold said

“There was no warning that the Australian was going to be a tricky customer on this occasion. His pre-match press conferences at Spurs rarely play out that way, they're normally quite enjoyable and thought-provoking for most of those involved. It's more his post-match interactions, which he admits are tinged with emotion, that can get spiky especially for the TV and radio interviewers who get him first before he comes into the press conference room.”

Have to say, whilst I'm all for questioning his professional ability as a Premier League / Uefa level coach, i can't get down with all the personal digs.

For one, there's just no need for it but also, nobody knows what he's actually like as a person. None of you.
