Out of interest.... we are all want Ange gone like yesterday but is there a universal choice who can unite the fan base. I genuinely don't think there is. As with Ange any manage we hire will have to cope with a group who never wanted him in the first place, a group who are willing to give him a go but will turn as soon as we don't beat a team were suppose to and then a group who are always behind the coach regardless. I can't think of one single coach who can get us all into the last group. My preference would be McKenna but I know know for a fact there are a lot of Spurs fans who don't want him.

I'm so sick of this guy. Knew he was out of his depth at Brighton away. Just stood there staring into space.

He's very little in game management, dreadful in interviews (everyone walking on eggshells now)

We concede the same type of goal on a weekly basis with Porro on his deck chair up the other end pitch everytime.

Yet he does nothing to address it.

He's contributed hugely to the on going injury problems that never really abate, go figure.

And now it's constant excuses.

But above all, our record is fucking terrible since the 4-1 against Chelsea.

I've never known a manager chat so much shit. He's like a middle manager at some branch of the carphone warehouse just making stuff up as he goes along and talking bollocks to completely disinterested staff.
He's worse one we've ever had. He makes Brenda Rodgers look like Shankley. He is a joke Francis, Gross, Ardiles, Stellini. I'm not even going to insult NES. Postecoglou is literally Tom Ripley levels of fake. I want to see his A licence...

Wasn’t poorly veiled. Was just asking. Sounds like you are doing a lot. Now I know you aren’t just being a moan on here.

I’m not planning to be down again this season, so not going to be protesting personally.

More than happy to be on any list of yours - I can’t describe how many fucks I don’t give.
Your post was soy-packed passive aggressiveness.

Get outta here.

The one who could unite the fans, some have called him magic you know

As I've aged, I've realised that it's normally a sign of stupidity, or perhap lack of wisdom is a better way to express it. The wisest people seem to be on another intellectual level, they can normally accept (albeit at times reluctantly and often feeling baffled) that others hold different opinions to them, that those opinions are valid in those other people's thinking, and that those people are entitled to have those opinions. As for those who can't do that, well I don't know whether it's stupidity, narcissism, too much time in echo chambers, or perhaps just not having the resilience to cope with not getting what they want, but the number of people in the world who are capable of accepting opinions of others that differ from their own definitely seems to be shrinking, not increasing. :(

I try - there are plenty of people on here whose views I find ridiculous, and some just plain trolling, and I call them out from time to time, but I'd never try to 'hound them out' of the fanbase, they are entitled to have and express their opinions the way we all should be.

The black and white thing is frustrating too - the amount of hyperbole on this forum is about as insane as the lack of nuance, and understanding thereof. That frustrates me because often people probably do have valid things to say, but those things get lost in hyperbolic nonsense. :(
A fine post. If I could be arsed, I’d respond with an applause gif. But I can’t.

It could be argued that those who want fans who disagree with them ostracized is just another opinion. And that it is. And it’s a public forum, so have at it I suppose.

We are shite right now, so tough to find positivity. Just seems like a very obvious trend appearing from certain posters that their attacks are directed at others on here and not the real problems.

The real problems being our owners, manager, staff and above all, the players. It’s them that’s letting us down. Not fans who don’t attend protests, not fans who don’t call Ange a fat cunt, not those who don’t call Johnson a fucking coward.

I welcome the posters who are fans because we have Son playing for us or Ange managing us as at least they bring a sense of positivity in such dark days.

Fed up talking about the bloke. Has no flexibility dealing with adversity. Limited tactics and downfall is playing Johnson who shouldn't be in first 11. Hes an impact sub and nothing else. Will be a miracle if we win europa league under him. Even if we do want him sacked. Cant bear another season of disorganised mess. That's what it is under him...a disorganised mess. His coaching crew need sacking as well. Mason pay off as well.

he probably knows what hes doing there too.

what is the plan? the football is proper shit. players hanging onto it far tooo long. ive seen kids player a more attractive brand of football and thats not even a joke.

when hes sacked its going to feel as good as winning a trophy.
If he does get sacked before the season ends, then he wasn’t wrong about us winning something in his second season.

I don't think he's a good football manager. But I don't think he's actually aware of that or trying to con anyone.
That in in of itself takes a level of talent I doubt he has.
hes blagged his way through. he must be amazed at where he is now, his abilities do not warrant it. hes a sunday league chump at best.

making son captain! wanting brennan johnson as his big summer signing! having 9 men and still persisting with eric fucking dier standing on the halfway line.....the alarm bells were deafening at the start! not to mention subs and set pieces not being important....hes not a football manager! hes a two bob motivational speaker who waffles his way through, it fools idiots.

his reply to displaying the worst piece of football management in the history of football.."its who we are"..WOW! top blagger! he will be laughed at in years to come. so will spurs for actually staining the premier league with this complete idiot.

I’m going to be honest, I think we’ve seen since Brentford the players aren’t really playing front foot, attacking football anymore.

They are doing some kind of weird, incoherent unplanned mess. I think of their own volition as well.

One would imagine that would be Senior players. Which would somewhat fit when you look at some of our most garbage nothing displays keep coming from maddison, son, bentancur, bissouma , porro
Play the kids/just the willing , if they'll still listen and try play high intensity attacking football

There's still a good 3 months of ange to go, these going through the motions performances are awful

Something that is difficult for me to gauge here in America is what the level of Postecoglou's support is among fans. Just judging off what I read on the internet it still looks like he has a lot of backing. What's your impression from interacting with other Spurs fans?

I think this is a good question. Honestly, in the wider fanbase I just don’t know. I can now easily judge those who know about football (those who want him gone) and those who don’t (those who back him despite all the obvious reasons not to). It’s been a great barometer for that, that’s for sure.

Lose against Bournemouth Sunday and there will be boos, lose against AZ and I think the whole stadium will have it in for him. I’m going to both so will be able to answer the question in more detail then I suspect.

Looked like Son and Maddison last night.

In that light Romeros injury looks fishy but we will never know.

Either way something stinks of player power after last night.

The notable thing I took from his presser earlier, just caught up with it, was that the journos obviously had wind of Maddison whispering to Sonny last night about “always the same play “ because one journo asked Ange “Do you have any concerns that this group is either doubting the game plan or lacking clarity over it?”

I can’t see that question being asked for any other reason and I got the impression Ange wasn’t overly happy about it being asked. His answer dealt with the question of clarity and nothing said about anyone doubting the game plan. Not that I expected him to address that question.

Maybe I’m reading more into it but don’t think so.

Doubt you are. He doesn’t like his authority challenged at all, not one percent. It’s the reason why he’s never had a loyal assistant or coaching staff. I think that’s obvious now.
