I bet there’s something contractual relating to a smaller pay off if we’re out of the cups and might also be relative to league position.

My guess is that Levy has put feelers out for a replacement but none of those candidates were prepared to take over before the summer. And Levy doesn't fancy a Mason/Stelini situation again so is going to let Ange play out the season. That's the only thing I can think of that makes much sense.

Probably. And we'll be back here in 2 years time saying exactly the same thing and having exactly the same conversation about Iraola, Silva, or whoever the "new guy" is

:sonlol:

Agreed but, Ange is probably the worst spurs managerial appointment ever. He's a total amateur. Levy after 25 years should have known better than take on someone whose only ever been successful in shit leagues. Levy needs to fuck off as well as he is also a total amateur when it comes to football.

No point getting mad at it, though I understand the frustration. Levy isn't going anywhere unless the club gets bought out for silly money.

Ange is a lame duck now. We might squeak by AZ in the second leg but can't see us winning the Europa even if we get to the next round. Ange is gone in the summer. Get your voodoo dolls out, consult your priest/rabbi/Glenn Hoddle...and pray Levy finds his miracle worker.

Well it will be Lange involved next time in the managerial hunt. We'll see how he does

Rather than the comedy show that took place after stellani/mason

I’m going to be honest, I think we’ve seen since Brentford the players aren’t really playing front foot, attacking football anymore.

They are doing some kind of weird, incoherent unplanned mess. I think of their own volition as well.
Which means he's lost the dressing room. If Ange is sending them out with his game plan and the players look disinterested, are just going through the motions and not giving a fuck then Ange is finished here

Tbh I think santini was the worst under levy. Francis/ardiles was worst under sugar. Ardiles gets benefit of doubt as legend as a player. Francis turned us into QPR. Had terror tuesday training and in aftermath got loads of injuries. Santini balied out as it started to get a bit tough for him. Gross was too advanced for us and alienated players. Signed berti though who was overweight. And tramezzani who was shit. Redknapp and poch are only levy successes. Jol was ok. The rest....crap.

Point is Ange has been here too long, afforded more time, chances than infinitely better managers had and has no tactical ability at this level. Everyone can see it apart from Levy, Munn and the board. Christ if he's still here in August it's tantamount to dereliction of duty by that berk Levy

Tbh get vibe that it's a bit of PR by levy backing ange publicly as dont want to warn off potential replacements. Ange is gone in summer imo. And tbh I cant see any Tottenham fan put up with another season of him. Imagine pre-season hes still there, there will be little enthusiasm by any fan going into new season. He has to go and it maybe blunt but he will get a nice payoff. 10m. He has to go.

Even Anges most loyal disciple Shadydan Shadydan has left this forum. Even he has run out of excuses to defend the worst manager this club will ever have.

Martin Jol was a lot better than ok. He was the catalyst and made us into a team who pretty much got European football every year. Don’t underestimate how important he was for spurs. He took the fight right to Woolwich too.
