My brother said to me a few years ago we are cursed. Ridiculous I thought as grew up watching us play champagne football, great players and winning trophies. But since 1991 cup final let's be honest weve been mediocre. Tottenham as a name always attracts players. The reality is and thankful of their financial principals sugar and levy hasnt worked on the football side. We need a better owner.

You seem to think me not wanting Iraola is akin to wanting to keeping Ange. Sorry to dissapoint you but I want Ange but Iraola is not for me...
 
Sacking him will be a huge relief for every Tottenham fan, I am genuinely worried that Levy actually believes all Ange’s bullshit excuses and wants to give him more time. At least if he’s sacked we can relax and look forward to having a new manager next season.

If that means putting up with Ryan Mason for a couple of months I don’t really give a shit at this point. He will get better results than Ange just like he did when he replaced Mou and Stellini.

Today it’s “The attacking players are awful”. He signed all three of the attacking players.

The players look like the team doesn’t have a manager at all. Like upturned turtles.

This can’t continue beyond this season or going down would be a real possibility. The manager may not even be a Championship manager, another year of wear and age on the players, and likely no meaningful reinforcements from Levy.

Someone remind me why I still care, please?

Ange Postecoglou on the importance of a good atmosphere on Thursday night:

“I can't sort of dictate to people how they sort of interact, but, AZ’s crowd certainly helped them on Thursday night and we need our crowd to get behind the boys on Thursday to make it an atmosphere where maybe we lose some of that nervousness and anxiety within our game.

But the reality is, we as a team have to respond irrespective of the atmosphere and one may follow the other. If we start the game strong, it’ll get the place nice and loud, which will help us.”
