First goal came from Porro giving the ball away and even before he gave the ball away he had 2 easier through balls to play in behind and to his left.

Then after that it’s an incredible cross from a position use was manageable really and Spence fell asleep back post thinking Danso had it.
Very good finish as well. Not easy first time.

Tbh Bournemouth could try that exact cross and finish 20 more times and not score again.
ffs there was no one near the player for a 50 yard sprint and then the cross. these are top professional footballers and they can do shit like that when no one is defending or pressuring them. that's the problem with ange ball especially in a top league. are we really gonna do this again? that first goal was one of the most absurd things i've ever seen

Game different when you don’t watch live.

Bournemouth should have been out of sight from out mistakes first half but even then we got in behind Kerkez 4/5 times and fucked it up.

Second half Sarr should score and Son hits the post at 0-1 Both decent chances considering who was shooting. Odobert got into dangerous situations so many times off the RW, Bergvall broke lines dribbling and found him in space 1v1 3 times before he was moved to #6.

The first goal we scored was a fluke but Bournemouth weren’t unlucky to concede twice… for a team that was mixing up a high press and deep block into counter attack, they were very very easy to play through as well.

Yeah course it was mate.

You know our mistakes count right? They pressed us, we couldn’t handle it. They had twice our shots on target, more shots, far more chance creation. We scored an absolute fluke and then a penalty. We didn’t even turn up in the match until the end of it.

Bournemouth will be kicking themselves - they 100% deserved to win. It was fucking dreadful. Not as bad as AS doesn’t mean shit. We were at home and shockingly shit.

Both games against them under this clown we’ve been throughly outplayed and out created and lucky to not be battered twice.

To any here that have had enough of Aussie Ange followers, I have some good news.

As a member of the Order of Australia for keeping Australian order I can inform you there was a meeting and vote last night.

At the Great Table of Knowledge in the Great Hall of AUstralian Champions and fucking top blokes some things were decided. One thing of interest was the Ange situation.

Flash Daz gave a report on the process and how it was proceeding (he likes the football where they kick the ball) who knew. Good enough for us, he ain't called flash because he's a shit kicker.

Anyhow a vote was taken, and the final directive given.

In the greatest of all Australian traditions of loving a winner it was decided Ange is Greek and not our problem. So no more with the Aussie shit.

Can I interest you in a young bloke tearing the place apart with the under 17 Sydney girls team? Great ideas and I imagine only a step or two away from taking charge of Juventus. Heads up you'll want to move fast.
Thanks.....mate!

Im saying we didn’t deserve to get much from the game because self inflicted or not they are still mistakes.

That doesn’t change the fact that we played better football with the ball than we have recently.

We were shit on and off the ball and being marginally better than the shitshow against AZ (who would struggle to stay up in the premier league) doesn’t mean anything.

At home we probably beat them, because they fucking suck. It doesn’t mean anything other than them being rubbish.

I sometimes wonder if the players are hoping to get him sacked by playing woefully...or are the players woeful in their own right...?

Everyone of them players know fine rightly that Ange hasn’t a clue what he’s doing. Madders became aware of it at the start of the season and his relationship with Ange looks non existent. Madders is no doubt t very vocal and well liked in the dressing room and Ange knows it. Hence why we’ve seen madders dropped a lot this season.

I've always said a coach deserves two full seasons as long as he isn't going to get us relegated so you can get a good idea of what he wants. He's getting that and it's plain to see that he isn't really adapting much of his methods to fit the league and more importantly the players he has to work his system. And this will get him sacked..rightfully

That first goal yesterday probably doesn't happen if we had a high energy DM with quite a bit of pace who reads danger well. You'd expect said player to see porro and anticipate the potential for a Bournemouth counter down to the vast amount of space down the right.
Once the ball is given up he'd either utilize his VDV level pace to race to the right to hold up Kerkez, or he'd drop into a back 3 allowing Romero to take up the RB position to stop the cross and Danso to better spread to the left.
It's risky relying on one player to stop you from getting done on counters, something that worked well last season off the back of VDV but you've got to have the players for it, and the depth to cover injury.

Bissouma, and Bentancur aren't natural DMs, don't really read situations, have zero pace, especially Rodri
so we are wide open when the fullbacks push up leaving the back two isolated 3 v2 or 4 v 2 every game

same goes from playing out the back, if they had players of the technical level to do it, sweet we'd have little problems sucking teams in then springing out with superior numbers but we dont spend the kinda money to have those types so it becomes a shambles

same old story for the wide forwards, system seems to demand players on the level of peak son to create the space to create the cross for the opposite wide man and solanke to attack the ball.

we have none of these things and with the league well versed on how we play it's all just collapsing into mush.
and he can't or wont adapt

some interesting high risk ideals but can't see it working with kids and mid table buys in this league

I don't buy the "if we only had the players" line of thinking

we'd be better with better players obviously. But he's still a tactically weak coach. We'd still be punching below our (heavier) weight.

He shouldn't be sacked until they are out of the EL. Unless there's a miracle transformation I expect that may not be far away.

In the end the season is over. It's unfair to place anybody in the position to get booted from this comp. Nobody is changing this team in a few weeks. There's been 18 months of pumping this stricture into everything they do.

If Spurs goes out, Ange deserves to wear that blame. If on the other hand they win I firstly need to be unshocked before making a comment.

Irrespective it's not going to have any baring on where people really want to see the team headed next season and beyond

I actually think that if a miracle does happen Ange will choose to leave and head somewhere else with a trophy on the cv and ready to start the process all over again. Theres plenty out there looking for hope anywhere they can find it. And that's what he sells.

Two years seems to be his thing. It hasn't hurt his rise that's for sure.

He won't win the EL. He will go down as a flop. This is his first and last big 5 leagues job

From the managerial perspective, I don't give a fuck if he wins the Europa League or not...if he does they should sack him anyway as he's out if his depth even if he does somehow fluke a successful Cup run.

In many ways and whatever happens , a quickie divorce come the summer would let both parties get on on with their lives and seek health and happiness with other partners . It would be better for all concerned in my opinion . It’s just where we are , mate . Life will then be able to go on ; for both of us ,

Hey I'm not disagreeing. I did use the word miracle. As in most unlikely. Just writing the way I see it.

Irrespective of what happens I believe there is zero probability of Ange being the coach at the start of next season. No chance.

If he did win the EL by some miracle he will be bolting to exit door. If he wins that trophy it will be the greatest escape since Harry Houdini. He isn't stupid and there's zero chance he would push his luck further.

Fair enough, I just don't think he's as good.

Silva has had to do more with less to be honest and I think Fulham play better football.
I think that both would be good if given time. Frank would probably require more time since it is more of a stylistic change.

But whoever comes in after Ange has to be backed with the right coaching staff instead of making due with what he can find in the youth section.

I'd imagine both would bring their own assistants. Silva might bring Luis Boa Morte with him if he's willing to leave the Fulham setup.

Ange Ball clearly works ; in leagues with far lesser players and without teams being managed / coached by people who have the vaguest idea about what they’re paid a load of money to actually do for a living .

Apart from those minor qualifications ; it’s irresistible ( and exceptionally entertaining for all lucky enough to be able to witness it ) . The man needs to find his level ; and then he’ll be bouncing .

PS ; He’s not found it with us IMO .
you must be referring to the Highlands League in Scotland
