The most unsatisfying victory I've felt in a while. We are clueless when trying to defend near the end of games, and leave the wide men free as our fullbacks are not aggressive enough in closing them down. I can't respect someone that neglects the defensive aspect of the game, as that mindset shows arrogance and a belief that will backfire on the team, especially against top quality opposition, which let's face it, Alkmaar certainly are not.

One goal lead on aggregate, 80 minutes in to the game and we still concede a 3 on 2 attack (or something like that) because our full backs are stupidly high up the pitch once again. We get away with it today because the opposition probably isn't Premier League standard but as soon as we're playing someone decent, as we will in the next round, we certainly won't get away with it. It's baffling how this is still happening.
