He’s average at best
How can you confidently say that? What more do you want him to be showing with Bournemouth ?

I’m seeing a lot of criticism for their form in the last 5 games as if he’s managing a traditional top 6-8 team. He’s at a team who were expected to be battling relegation when he joined and now 18 months later they’re 3 points from top 6 with some impressive performances/wins against the big boys .

Why do you say? Any reason for it?

Because they finished 12th last year and are headed to about 12th this year. Form has fallen off a cliff and the football they play is solid but not especially exciting.

Never really won anything as a player or manager and hasn’t had any experience managing a team playing more than once week.

He could work out, and I’d hope he did, but realistically it would be huge ask for him to turn this football club into regularly challenging for and winning major trophies.

I get it that it’s tough for him to have shown much more at Bournemouth but that’s not a reason to expect him to achieve more at Spurs.

Possibly, but typically its been described previously as the payout that Spurs are required to spend on each manager. Unless it is specifically negotiated, I can't imagine that the contract isn't paid out in full. It would be more like a welfare check if just paid out until they find another job.
If anyone did that, any coach with half a brain would be trying to get sacked from day one.
4 year deal, sacked in the first season, 3 further years of wages, new job,4 year deal, sacked after a year, final 3 years paid.

That's 2 years worked and 8 years salary

So getting thumped 4-0 on aggregate by the mighty RB Leipzig was an anomaly too... the 1-0 defeat to Milan (who were not on your original list of teams you would like to see us play), do you recall those 2 legs... we were atrocious and did not register a single shot on goal in the 2nd leg when behind. The team that got to the CL final (with a huge amount of luck) was the anomaly mate plus that team was at it's optimal. None of today's players would even get in that team. As we are not going to buy 11 world class players over the next half a dozen windows, I can live without the Champions League and enriching Levy's vanity development projects.
Mate, we lost to AZ a couple of weeks ago. If we're gonna get beat, at least get beat by a real football club.
What are you even arguing about at this point?

I can’t believe how many of us believed long after the evidence was there for all to see that he wasn’t up to it. If Levy manages to appoint a downgrade we know it’s wilful self sabotage , it really is the only way is up after this plank . Very very low bar for the next sacrificial lamb to overcome .
I can't believe how many refused to listen to all the evidence.
Maybe the next time we get a totally unqualified fraud of a coach and fans raise alarm bells, people will listen before almost 2 full seasons are over :roflmao::roflmao:

So you like Frank more correct?

Just think he is a better fit with us.

Drawing with tamworth after 90 minutes was beyond a joke as well. We were rabbit in headlights for 90 minutes. Had to bring on cavalry to win that.
He's arguing that getting in the CL doesn't do any good and we're better off being shit and being in the ropey league.
He argued we just lost against the likes of AC Milan ignoring the fucning tripe we lose to in the ropey league.
