All parties would be happy with that outcomeGoing to sack him for winning a major euro trophy and making CL?!! Almost as stupid as sacking Poch six months after making CL final

In the end people can argue back and forth but the the future of Ange has not changed. When the EL finishes so does he. Winning it wont make a difference.
What winning the EL would do is make a pleasant parting of the ways for all concerned. Spurs get an overall good year believe it or not, and Ange leaves with some credit in the bank, believe it or not.
So until that EL finish it really is a case of it is what it is in my opinion. There's nothing that I've seen or read to make me change my mind on that.
We are forfeiting EL with this guy still here.
Classic Levy. Dont want to pay money for sacking Ange, dont want to pay money for bringing in replacement now. And dont see that its just probably only some fraction of cost of us not being in Europe next year. Not even mentioning money we will lose because of low position in the league.
It's actually the opposite. Continue with Ange and we'll continue to fail. Ange out fans want the club to succeed.I get the impression that most fans on here want us to fail so that they can be proved right in their pessimism.
Fact of the matter is, Ange knows how to build a winning team - he has done it time and time again. When we have had our best players available, we have a win percentage of 75% (that's league challenging form).
The club did a major overhaul of its medical department - and made the situation worse. But sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forwards. Let's hope that this summer the medical issues at the club get resolved and we can finally keep our players fit. We cannot put the blame entirely on Ange's system - our perma-injured players has plagued us for years (Lamela, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Rose, Dele, Wanyama, Dier for instance).
Take Konate, Van Dyke, Allison and Salah out of Liverpool and see how their season would have gone.
Oh look the lone Ange inner. How on Earth have you come to the conclusion that “Ange knows how to build a winning team?” Ange would struggle with building a Lego set mate. You have written a lot of nonsense on here in the last few years but this is right up there with the most bizarre. Have you not watched the matches this season? Come to think of it Ange had all his players available at the end of last season and we were still appalling. You say that you think most fans on here want us to fail. Keeping Ange as it appears you want to will guarantee that failure. Nice one HarryI get the impression that most fans on here want us to fail so that they can be proved right in their pessimism.

The question then is why didn't it work. Serial winning managers have come and gone, some of the world's best players have come and gone. We're still Spursy, we still don't have a winning mentality...so how does that change?
Mate, this club is a scam, I don't even know what to expect, we could do a complete turnover of players but so what, we're gonna follow it up with more years of rebuilding and our best players wanting out only for the youngsters to step up and eventually leave in a few years being replaced by more young players.
I guess all we can hope for is a manager like Poch to come in and coach the hell out of these players and improve them whilst dealing with the constant fuckery by the board of not actually wanting to compete.
The last 7 matches of last season he had Vicario, VDV, Romero, Porro and Son playing the entire time. The only player missing at all during that time was Udogie who has been poor for quite a while. Are you suggesting that with Udogie in the side we would have won 75% of those matches? We got 6 points out of 21. We beat Burnley condemning them to relegation and we beat an already relegated Sheff Utd. Enough of your nonsenseGames where Vicario, Porro, Romero, VDV, Udogie and Son are available. We have a 75% win rate.
Our CBs are key to our system.
I wonder if we could somehow arrange for Levy to be launched, head first, into the side of Joe Lewis' yacht, sinking them both to the bottom of the ocean.

He really doesn'tI doubt there will be manager change before Christmas. Winning or not winning EL is irrelevant. Levy has no option but to stick with Ange for a while.
Looks like Levy and Ange have brokenShadydan
Got to give it to the club, we should make Putin support Spurs, he’d give up in no time.
To the point about:
Jose hired to bring belief
Conte hired to bring fight
I believe Ange was bought in to instil values and make a connection between the club and fans. A refreshing honesty, I understand the theory, but without the results and performances to back it up, it has turned into a nightmare.
It’s fair to say Ange has been in high pressure situations throughout his career, and come out the other side ok, and that’s something we definitely needed. You can argue the premiership is higher pressure than his previous roles, but it’s all relative, in his early career I’m sure the pressure felt just the same.
I’ve never wanted a season to end so quickly. I’ll try and go to the final game of the season, will be my last for a while
I’m not for one minute, saying it has worked out of defending him. I’m also not saying he was the right hire, but we lost our way, tried Nuno, panicked and went for a winner, then an authoritarian, then it felt more like an emotional hire, with someone that had dealt with doubters through his early career. I think they felt he had the stomach for it which was needed. It has failedI honestly think he was just hired because he was cheap and a lot of people turned us down.
What values has he instilled? His mythical great to watch football?
Is he refreshingly honest? He seems to blame everyone else for his failings and then get aggressive when people point out his nonsense and hypocrisy.
There isn’t much in the way of pressure in being Celtic manager, you get the best squad in a really poor league and you can essentially just send them out to play and 9 times out of 10 they will win it. You have the better finances, the better players just everything stacked in your favour. If you manage to bugger it up then you’ve really had to go some. Neil Lennon is basically as qualified to manage us as Ange is.
He’s the worst manager we’ve ever had.
