Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He's right when he says that we basically fucked the recruitment up, again you may want him gone but we clearly didn't do enough in the Summer.

That still doesn't excuse his own performance throughout the season though.

so he says this now with a few months of the season left?

He stated he was the driving force behind the push for younger players previously. He got what he wanted and now he finally realises it wasn't very smart to sell a load of experienced players and replace them with kids.

I've got a great BMW owners club meet to go to on Sunday but I can't go without selling my southampton ticket.

And guess what - I can't

FUCK you Postecoglou. Before this season i never had a problem moving on the occasional ticket. Now I've struggled to sell anything all fucking season.

Postecoglou, by nearly any metric has failed. Not sure if there is anyone who believes different, but if so, let's have that discussion, because it woupd be good to hear.

I also think what makes it worse is that Postecoglpu genuinely makes sense, and sends a simple message, that any neutral would likely buy into.

Amd then we get to matches, the players just fail to deliver, make mistakes and look incoherent.

But I don't blame him for being at the club, and saying what he does. He is the manager until he isn't, so the issue and decision around his tenure is not his to make.

But it's been awful, to the point where I am barely interested

Look you know the guy's a self serving bluffer but I don't want people to ignore the fact that this board have left another manager short yet again.

but he is the manager and he was happy with the summer and January windows. if the manager is saying "I'm happy" why would the board spend more money when they've already been one of the highest net spenders?

Our fanbase, on the whole, were also happy. Look at the ratings the majority gave when rating the window after the summer.

The fanbase were wrong, he was wrong.

ok well then what do you expect the board to do then? get more players in when the manager is saying the squad is fine?? literally no board would hear their manager state they are perfectly happy with the squad and then proceed to sign more players, it just wouldn't happen.

This board have absolutely screwed managers over previously. Poch was absolutely shafted, Mourinho screwed, Conte screwed, Redknapp screwed but on this occasion I don't get what they're expected to do?
