All I've noticed are comments such as "Ah, you know mate, it was always gonna be a tight game here. I feel we created enough chances to win the game but then opposition capitalized on our mistake and took charge of the game. Our rection was nowhere near good enough. It's tough one to take, but we have to stick together and believe in what we are doing here as a group!".

Rinse and repeat.
Pretty much guaranteed that more than half of the post-Chelsea presser is covered in the lines above.

There aren't any magic formulas to winning, but people want to believe the manager has found some new way of approaching football that will guarantee wins. The Premier League is a tough league with plenty of good managers and players. There's been a lack of understanding of that fact by Postecoglou since Day 1.

Every person in life needs at least one person they trust, that will tell them when things aren't working and need to be sorted.

When for all around you its my way or the highway without question, you're never going to get an honest opinion.

The more powerful a person is, the less likely of getting that honest opinion. Very few will knowingly lose a good thing by rocking the boat.

The world is full of stories about people who hit the heights only to crash and burn. Afterwards complaining that nobody helped them or ever pointed out the destructive path they were on.

I'm always sceptical of those that are outwardly and overly confident about their ability without a very real background of solid proof.

Clueless bastard. And I'm not having the road to Damascus types giving it the 'but we all thought' crap. They are as thick as him. I kept the receipts on a poster ridiculing me and worrying about Levy's bottom ...line. when I said we should attempt to get Tapsoba AND VDV. There were certainly a few posters saying we needed to do more than we had done.

In hindsight then lads, I really think we've been unfair on Ange and should give him another season. Clearly it's not his fault as someone should have mentioned to him that finishing in 5th place in England qualifies you for European competition, ergo an extra game a week for much of the season. I can imagine having only managed in Scotland (where 5th is midtable) and Narnia (where you play in the lion, the witch and the champions wardrobe cup instead) it probably came as a bit of a nasty shock to him, maybe he wouldn't have run the entire squad into the ground by november if someone had told him.

He made terrible squad decisions (not including Spence being one) but in any case he's massively overblown this burden on the squad. For 80% of it we were playing absolute dross and still rotating heavily. It is not like we had to send our first XI out there to battle for 95 minutes each time.

Last season the issue was no European football so he couldn't get minutes into the squad and this season the issue is too much football. The guy talks absolute shit very consistently.

I still can't get over him subbing off Bentancur with 25 mins to go away at Rangers when he was suspended for all the domestic games. This was during the height of our injury crisis when we'd Forster in goal and Werner starting every game! Bentancur couldn't play again until after Christmas as that was our last EL game during his ban. Was madness. It was like he forgot he couldn't play at the weekend and left on players who were fatigued playing 90 mins every 3 days

He also didn't start Kulu or Bergvall for that game, two of our most combative, physical players, in a game that obviously needed it ... and surprise, surprise, when they came on they changed the game.

He honestly is like a blind man. And I say that with apologies to blind men.
 
Maybe , & it’s just a thought as I don’t particularly care for either , Ange said what he said back in August as he knew what he was given in the window was all he’s getting & why would he say “ That's fucking it, you follically challenged property Simp”

His latest remarks ARE his Conte moment as he’s not got the temper of Conte , unless it’s directed to a fan . :D
 
The only question I would ask Postecoglou is how does he truly square his fury at our fans, for many wanting to see us lose to City last season, where he talked of a winners' mentality, and the abject capitulation he oversees game after game.

Just explain what messages he sends to the players, because we are the softest, easiest team to play and beat, outside of the bottom 3 teams.
