Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Comparing Conte's time to Ange's time is such a pointless exercise, even when you remove the calibre of each manager.

Conte has the best striker in the league, along with a prime Son. Kane was the difference between us and where we are now if we're deeply honest. He won us matches on his own.

Ange isn't the answer. I wanted it to work, but it hasn't. To be honest I don't know who is anymore.

Iraola I like, but he'll need time, which as a fan base we're not very giving of. Silva I think we'll get the same treatment as Nuno, potentially Frank as well.

As for the Stutgart manager, a few loses and people will start moaning about his age and experience again. It's a tiring cycle.
Conte had a much worse squad but two elite stars (in fairness they also looked elite because he played to their strengths - see Son now for a comparison).

A Conte team with our current defence would be frightening.

Conte had an aisling Lloris, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Tanganga, Lenglet, Royal and Sessegnon.
(plus Romero and a few games with Porro)
And still looked more solid at the back.

did he qualify for Europe through winning domestic cups? sounds like it if he was midtable
His only domestic cups won as manager were at PSG. At Sevilla and Villareal he qualified for Europe through the league.

Emery as a league manager can more or less be described as "He has his teams were they are predicted to be". Took over a struggling Valencia, got them back into regular European qualifications. Took over a struggling Sevilla, took them back into Europe and won three straight Europa Leagues. He kept Woolwich in or around the European places for most of his run there as well. Then back to Spain and a disappointing Villareal and another EL. And now he has taken Villa back to seemingly being a European football regular.

The only real standouts in his career is PSG because PSG are who they are in French football. And a underwhelming 6 month stint in Russia.

It will be fun!

Did you buy 4 tickets to torture friends and family with??
Domestic abuse is not a joke man.

I wonder where Angelos will end up after Spurs.
I know he said. Greek beach but I think he will want to show the world that Tottenham was just a blip on his cV like the 2 before him.
Nuno Espirito Santo had actually had real jobs before Spurs like Conte Jose is just finished. That people in the fan base and worse at the club thought Ange was of the same level tells you a lot. Also let's not exclude the 'Journalists' the Pitt-Brookes, Mokbel's, Winters. The HIPSTERS. THEY NEVER QUESTION THE APPOINTMENT NOT ONE. They were drinking the global champagne, there's no difference at all right? "Liberté, égalité, fraternité" Your only being a troglodyte if you don't think Emma Hayes deserves a crack at the Spurs job look at her CV...
