He even made a dig at the PL a while back I can't remember the exact words but it was certainly a dig.
I wonder if Brisbane Roar would take him back.
The man is an absolute joke. It's a tragedy he arrived at our football club.

Compare him to the other managers of the world, and there is such a difference in character and tactical prowess. We have become a charity for Australians, and it's an absolute embarrassment.

Watching the games tonight has sent me over the edge, as its clear that Levy and Ange have pushed us so far back from competing against even mid range quality teams.

He's just sad and pathetic, and the fact he blatantly lied to the reporter about ear cupping is in itself sackable as he shows disrespect to the fans.

A grown man that can't own up to his actions? How can you expect someone of his ignorance and selfishness to lead a football club as massive as ours?

Not to mention at how tactically inept and clueless he appears to be. He hasn't ever mentioned tactics once in an interview and that has shown on the pitch.

The red flags were there from day one in his tenure. Same issues, but zero changes. It's incredible how those first ten games of his tenure has carried him this far too. He would have been sacked at the end of last season if we were not as good.

There are hundreds of so-called Spurs fans, including many on this site, who want us to lose games so they can be queens of twitter and the internet.
no a lot of us just don't like our manager shitting on the club. what's your reasoning for wanting him to?

i'm sensing a tone of false equivalency with what i said and the ange-inners. as if not wanting the coach disrespecting the club daily is somehow not supporting the shirt or putting my desire to be right ahead of the club when nothing could be further from the truth. i want us to win. i want the players to win and be successful and happy here. where i'm at is pretty recent with ange more openly taking the piss every chance he gets lately. i still want us to win in the league but i simply don't want to endure the absurdity of this asshole winning a trophy and holding it over us at this point which he no doubt would do. perhaps if it were the fa cup or champions league it would be different but not for a bs europa cup. but, if lots of you disagree and are happy with that scenario, i'll be happy for you but i will personally have a nasty taste in my mouth from it.

WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS!

The club under Levy has been masterful at lowering expectations. The promise of Ange was simply a return to a good style of football, there was no promise of success as there isn’t under any manager we hire.

Ange came promising a good style of football and in the first half of the season minus injuries it was pretty good to watch. We had spent years with negative managers like Jose who don’t play football how Spurs fans would want. Combine that with losing by far our best player in Kane it was a tough start for Ange which he dealt with quite well. The end of season was poor and perhaps there were warning signs but as a club we can’t keep changing projects all the time. Sadly as time has worn on he has shown a lack of tactically adaptability and worse an inability to improve players. The club was right to try and support a manager in a way it often doesn’t, it just backed the wrong horse.

My fear is the club will learn the lesson to not back a manager in the future and just sack them quickly like it used to. Remember Ndombele when for the first time under Levy we spent on wages and transfer fees and have not done again and thus have no elite players. We need to back our manager and we need to buy elite players, we just have to be better with our scouting/choices like other clubs.

This season has been a mess but we have some very good young players and we are now used to playing attacking football. When we change Ange we don’t need to throw the baby out with the bath water. Ideally we need a Pochettino style coach, someone who will develop players.
Three seasons seems to be about the most any manager can look forward too unless they are unusually successful. We think Spurs turnover in managers is bad, and it certainly isn't good, but it isn't that much worse than most other teams. Maybe it is unfair to expect success by year two, but that's the standard these days.

If Rodgers is off then maybe Celtic would?
I don't think people realise how stacked that league is in Celtic's favour. It is an amazement if Rangers even win again soon. And outside those two, what is even the point of being a supporter. What is even the point of being a Celtic supporter? They will win next year and it will feel meaningless...like it does every year. There is no hope, there is nothing to look forward to. I would rather be an Aberdeen supporter because at least the hope of winning will feel better. Dying club in a dying league.

Ange belongs there...
