Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If Levy actually knew what he was doing, thought fairly reasonably and took a bit of a gamble on someone who knows Spurs, loves Spurs and understands what it means to play for Spurs, then he'd ask Stuart Lewis to coach the team after we sack Ange.

Just for the remainder of the season. Just to give him some top level experience and exposure.

His youth teams play absolutely brilliant football.
Well coached, drilled excellently, with style, attacking play and look like they know how to see out games.

He would have the fans support far more than someone like Matt Wells, perhaps. Though Wells is Cliff Jones' grandson, perhaps he has been too close to the awful Australian and a completely new pair of eyes could bring some
Semblance of a football team back.
TBH anyone but Ange has to be an improvement!

lets go, he can manage 4 European wins
Don't even need 4 wins.

Draw at Frankfurt...win on pens.

Bodo/Lazio: Draw away, draw at home...win on pens. Or draw away, win at home (or other way round). Or defeat away, bigger win at home (or other way round). Fuck me, even if we lose the first leg then win the 2nd and it's all square on agg...you can win on pens.

Win the final...or draw and bag it on pens.

You can literally lift the trophy without needing to win another game (in 90+ET), just draws and pen shootouts. Or even just with one win in the semis or final. Highly unlikely, yes, but shows it doesn't need to be 4 straight wins, something that for the life of me I cannot see the fat bastard and that shite squad of sissies achieving. When did they last win 4 (big) games in a row?

But even draws and pen shootouts, I can't see the Blob manage that. He's that ridiculously incompetent.

This is exactly the type of thing that makes one feel hopeless either way.

Levy won't spend if he sacks Ange because he'll believe the squad has better football in it as is.

He won't spend if he retains Ange because the manager has left him unconvinced.

Both a new manager or the current turnip will be met with "improve results and then we'll talk about transfers" which of course we won't do.

Levy will buy more teenagers he hopes to make a profit on and misplace his checkbook when the manager tells him the first team isn't good enough.
Let's not forget that we owe 441 mil in previous transfers and that a big chunk of that is due this summer and in January...that'll defo impact the budget for new incomings.

Levy wants that debt cleared asap - so revenue can be put towards priorities (not football) - and obviously we're still paying for the stadium.

But hey, look at the positives, chaps & gals...we can count Porro, Kulu, Bentancur, Romero & co as 2025 transfers.

"I agree that Ange Postecoglou has shown some significant shortcomings in his management. There have been numerous instances where his decisions have been questionable and have led to disappointing results. It's important to critically evaluate his performance and hold him accountable for the team's progress. Constructive criticism can help highlight areas that need improvement and drive positive change"

it's unlikely how open we are at the back, which is why i thought it might have been a wise choice to get Xavi in straight after wolves game to hopefully fudge something together before thursday.

But it seems likely Ange is getting the full season even if/when we get knocked out tomorrow

I 100% agree - this is what I am saying, doesn't have to be defensive shite but you can't be totally incapable of a clean sheet or dropping deep and changing it up when you need to. I hate going back to Poch again and again but his football is where we should be, great defence, strong in midfield and skilled attack. Ange is so so far away from that it’s actually incredible.

It’s shocking that the Poch period and 1-2 seasons under Harry that’s the only time we have had it in the past 25 years.

Stumbled on this on YouTube and watched the whole thing again. Not saying poch is the current answer but I miss feeling like this about spurs. From every player to the coaching staff and the fans there was passion and pride. I hope that it comes back again one day and hasn't been killed off for good.

Ajax should've scored about 12 goals across the two legs.

But the football gods favoured us.

Now the fuckers are making us pay for it. Ange is right.

Yesssir!
Genuine shout out to Aston Villa their board and Emery.
Plus their scouting department too.

We had a chance at Emery.

Instead our club and a huge section of our cuck fans are from a culture where his 'funny' foreign accent was somehow a problem. Ironically, the same fans who probably doff their cap when they hear a so called posh accent lol

How else do you explain how their idea of protesting everything wrong with Ange and Levy was...politely popping fucking balloons.
Really?!?
How's that working out for you, pussyholes?

The one good thing the Fat Prick(TM) has done is to,inadvertently, rip the mask off and expose to a global audience what a banter club looks like in 2025 alongside how full of shit Australians are.

Just imagine what Emery could have done with this squad in terms of tactics and game management, week in, week out.
He even got that lazy fuck Rashford tracking back in the rain at away games ffs

Instead we are stuck with a football manager (sic) whose new divine calling is tackling the scourge of teenage mobile phone usage.

And to think we haven't even hit rock bottom yet.
Not by a long shot.

God help us all.

Blatant “I’m a pilot and I have co -pilot” post.

Where are you flying to Goatie??

You really have given every option. Well thought out.

The numerous injuries have allowed him time he otherwise wouldn't be getting.

I think Danny knows he has to give Ange his two seasons chance to win a trophy.

We have got a reputation for sacking managers too quickly. Which is ok if you win things.
But when you win sweet FA it just highlights managers don’t get given either the time or the tools to affect positive change at Spurs.

This 2 seasons shows he will give a manager time and patience and numerous transfer windows. And a decent backing financially too.

And that can be used as a positive point for the next manager to walk through the doors.
