Probably depends a little on the remaining league performances. If we miraculously become good for the remaining fixtures - and give a good showing in the rest of the EL, then he'll probably be able to stay. However, I think it's become a bit too toxic and we all know the writing's on the wall, and we fans'll be baying for his blood come the first load of nonsense in September / October.
No way Levy is sacking a manager who has won the first trophy in 17 years . I guarantee it.
If he starts badly next year..
It's a different story
We won’t sack him if we win it.
But Ange is clearly so done with being here, and after the league campaign this year I’m sure that it’ll be a mutual termination
Do people seriously think Ange changed tactics?
For me, the team is playing for itself now. Seeing Ange has said he will never change the style of play, I find it a bit rich for people to start saying Ange changed it. Did he fuck. The players did what some of us said they might do, just play for themselves and some how get the job done.
You only have to look at the PL results to see what Ange's impact is on the team.
The fact we are still going in Europe is solely down to the players wanting to win something.
Also, we rode our luck massively. The only reason we are through is from a penalty, and Frankfurt missing some absolute sitters. Although to be honest, that's karma for the first leg.
Another day we get spanked 4 - 1.
Brilliant that we are through, ultimately that is all that matters.
But a change of manager is needed as soon as this cup run is over. Even if we win it.
Because again last night, we are just all over the shop from an organisation and tactical perspective.
We dug in, got the result, but fucking hell, he's still fucking clueless.

Other than the great chances we missed and a world class save from Tel that is.
Football is like that, teams usually don't take every chance they get.
Maybe they had 1 chance more than us but they were also very lucky their GK was even on the pitch so the result was more than fair IMO. Especially over 2 legs.
You’re wrong.
He’s done here regardless. Even if it’s a “mutual agreement”.
He's just a slow learner .I am amazed none of the press or pundits asked Ange why the team played so differently tonight. We went long a lot more, especially from goal kicks. It was everything that Ange’s critics had been asking / telling him to do since November. He was resolute that he would not change or compromise his principles of passing out from the back and baiting the press, whoever the personnel were and that we had to be brave. Has he adjusted / evolved his thinking? Or did the players decide they were fed up losing and make the change themselves? It seems a little ‘out of order’ criticising him after a massive win, but we’d not be in the bottom half of the table if we’d played this way all season!
So the bonding of the team has nothing to do with Ange, mmmkayPlease calm down, everyone... we didn't win because of Ange and a sudden change in tactics over 2 years... the players took the responsibility and played inspite of the fraud. Unfortunately, he now takes the glory...
The decision has already been made. Plans for his replacement are underway whatever happens in the cup.No way Levy is sacking a manager who has won the first trophy in 17 years . I guarantee it.
