Agree. Levy would be moronic to keep him even if we win the cup. But, I have to say, I'll take winning the trophy even if next season does become a write off.

It's not ideal, and it will be Levy's fault once again, but the game is about glory. And it would be glorious to win something.

That's my impression too. They are a very will coached team. Glimt's manager has been there for 7 years. He was wanted by Ajax but AFAIR he knocked them back to be with his family. They will be very hard to beat over there. Postecoglou will not take them for granted.

I turned 50 last year. It struck me that I might genuinely go to my grave never seeing us win anything again, not a nice feeling tbh.

What does it matter really, how'd this start? Of course we would have a parade. We've not won a trophy in newly 2 decades and that was just league cup .
This would be a major European trophy win, the third of which or 4th of we count cup winners cup.
Pretty much would be a massive massive achievement. And remembered fondly for decades like 1984 .

We aren't man city, united, pool or Woolwich who have routinely won titles the last 20 years.

I know certain groups really want to downplay it just because they hate the man , but unfortunately for them it would be a massive thing for our club and a parade is guaranteed.

So I guess the usuals in that case will be praying bodo/glimt knock us out so they can feel validated and smug on the Internet

its embarrassing but winning the europa league erases all the embarrassment and would make him a good manager

Don't think any Tottenham fan we will want too see the club knocked out.
Ange has not worked out, mainly due to himself and his poor set up. Last night he got it right, but it should not detract from an 18 month shitshow.

Guess you didn't see the votes on the thread and comments about winning it and keeping him or getting knockout out and him being fired

Because of last night's result, people are caught up in the euphoria of it all.
But the real acid test is, the weekly league performances that are way short of where we need to be.
I want to see the club successful, and I hope both him and the club deliver it, we still need a better organised manager to take us on.

Yep the season isn't good enough league wise, and for that ange should and will get the sack of he doesn't win this.
I just don't like the downplaying of the chance to win this trophy like it's the tiger cup
When a massive part of the clubs identity and history is built on winning this same trophy 2 times in the past

It's a fantastic trophy and I want to see us win it.
Would be nice to get a taste for silverware wouldn't it?

it would be nice to reset the clock to 0

shortly after the game the mocking will stop because it wont make sense anymore, "ah spurs, havent won a trophy in 4 minutes"

then we get another chance to win a trophy and reset it to 0 with the UEFA Super Cup, then all the champions league money
