Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

In my opinion Ange should be sacked before the semifinal. It would increase our chances of winning the EL and give us more time to work on appointing his successor. If we do win the EL it will be despite of Ange not because of him.
It is entirely possible that he will manage this group of players to finish 17th in the PL, one place above relegation…… let that sink in.COYS.

Would anyone take Vitor Perreira at Wolves? Theyve won 5 of last 6. Has plenty of experience in Portugal, Brazil and Greece.

Also plays 343 which probably suits our squad best. Weve got Spence, Porro and Udogie that would all benefit from that system. So would Bergvall, Gray, Sarr and Bentancur
Fuck sake mate!! Win a few games and get touted for the Tottenham job?? Watch this,Iraola will not be wanted as much because Bournemouth are in bad form but he was the shiny new object who was going to save us 6 weeks ago! Thomas Frank will get mentioned again because they’ve won a few. It’s bonkers how fans change their minds week to week!!

17th basically means worst premier league team in the league because the other three that will go down are championship clubs. Ange should not survive even if we win the Europa but I’ve got a horrible feeling he might now. It just prolongs because come October he’d be gone.

The Chinese owners are only interested in money; they'll sell anyone who looks half way decent and VP will walk at some stage

I mean not even Gary O'Neil could handle it at the end

Kane wasn't the captain but I get your point 😉

Anyway I've always said that Levy selling Kane that Summer wasn't his biggest sin, it was either that or him leaving onna free the following Summer.

His biggest sin was his failure in building a team around him, biggest fumble ever considering how hard it is to find World Class Premier League strikers especially from our own academy.

There was a brilliant team built around Kane though. It did challenge on all fronts and that ultimately is on poch not levy. It will forever be a mystery as to how poch didn’t win anything with the team he had.

First 11, not squad though.

Poch got that first 11 up to the level of being challengers, it was on the board for not supplementing with worthy squad players instead with the likes of Sissoko, Lucas and Jansen

Lucas single handily put us in a champions league final and you are saying he’s not worthy.

Ok.

He wasn't good or consistent enough for the level we were trying to aspire to, 1 moment doesn't change that...the fact that people constantly refer to that night to point to his contribution to the club in 4 seasons tells you all you need to know.

Look at his numbers whilst playing for us...they were pitiful for a forward, 64 goal contributions in 221 matches, basically 1 in every 4 matches he'd make an impact on the pitch.

And you're telling me he was able to sit att he same table as Kane, Son, Dele, Eriksen et all

OK then :mourthumb:

He was adequate enough for the squad we had. We had Loris Toby Jan Dembele Wanyama Son Eriksen Dele Kane. So yeah Lucas was a pretty good squad player in amongst those players. levy gave poch a generational team of young amazing players and he didn’t win a single thing. It’s on poch

So with all the evidence I presented to you you're just gonna ignore it then lol

Levy gave Poch a generational team 😂😂😂

Whichever way you went to spin it, the squad building and recruitment was poor for Poch...just watch how Woolwich have and will back Arteta this Summer and watch how Liverpool backed Klopp and will back Slot... that is the level we should have been aspiring to not relying on flops from League 1.

And even if you want to focus on that look at the spending or lack of it over his time when he was managing the club.

All the evidence? You are talking about one player, a squad player and ignoring the ridiculously strong starting 11 poch at his disposal. There’s no other way of looking at that side without thinking how the fuck did he not win with that lot?

I was talking about one player because you decided respond using him as an example so I responded in kind...

This is how I know you're not reading properly, I already made reference to the fact that we had an incredible starting 11, we are talking about the squad - try not to move the goalposts please.

Poch wasn't entirely blameless by the way, I've always said that he could and should have taken the domestics cups seriously however with serious squad backing when he needed it the club failed him.

Imo iraola has taken Bournemouth as far as he can. Joining us will have better resources and an upward trajectory in his career. Think he will stay if Bournemouth get Europe. If not he will join us imo.
