Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

In my opinion Ange should be sacked before the semifinal. It would increase our chances of winning the EL and give us more time to work on appointing his successor. If we do win the EL it will be despite of Ange not because of him.
It is entirely possible that he will manage this group of players to finish 17th in the PL, one place above relegation…… let that sink in.COYS.

I simply do not understand why he has been kept. He was on thin fucking ice last season, and this is even bloody worse.

However this ends, the end cannot now come quick enough.

Delusional prick. Good football is winning football. Controlling a game is not being behind after 4 and a half minutes ( or 2 if you were at Wolves )

He needs to go ASAP and no I wouldn’t give him the fucking Semi now either.

How on earth has he not been sacked?

There’s not a single sign of improvement across the team. Our football is hideous.

I just cannot fathom how he’s not only kept his job, but feels empowered to be so obnoxiously blase.

Surely, surely, the next coach must be lined up to take over on the first weekend the season has ended? We need a full pre-season to coach some basics back into the players and - if a miracle happens and we get into the CL - we certainly need an established style and some players to avoid 8-0 thumpings every match week.

Levy really thinks keeping the worst manager weve ever had in PL history to be some sort of astute business decision

Everything we do is pointless. We’re just a pointless irrelevant club under this ownership. We don’t want to win anything. Just make small 20M profits here and there and increase revenue. Even the mid table clubs have more ambition and are more exciting as clubs.
It's so sad. You look at other clubs where fans, the manager and the board all want to win at the very least and there's genuine urgency when they don't.

Here, nothing. It's soulless. No accountability, no anger, just shit banal excuses every other week, every month, every year. I'm sick of it.

This club has everything resource wise to challenge for any trophy. The fact it's one of the worst in the PL should not be brushed off as easily as it is. This was sackable form even for West Ham months ago. The fact AP is still here is a total insult.

Massive ego and he's an old bastard who's had a nice payday.

He knows his career at the elite end of the game is done and he's now set for life financially. If anyone could be blase in a scenario like this it's him. He doesn't have to please anyone at this stage of his career.

He's also got a few crutches to lean on (injury crisis, Spurs never win anything, Levy penny pinching etc.) and so has probably convinced himself it's not his fault as narcissists can do.

Levy has been letting this fester for months now. I still don't understand why he wasn't sacked at the start of the year, or before the last international break. We're regressing week on week.

Once again I found the subs a bit nuts. I guess the two CB’s were pre planned but why do both at the same 45, why not leave one out each half.

The Johnson/Solanke sub was bonkers. We end up with three strikers who can’t create for themselves and take off Odobert who could put crosses in and create.

Surely just Solanke for Kulusevski going 442/424 with Solanke/Richarlison up top and leaving Odobert wide right would have made more sense.

Johnson brought absolutely fuck all to the game tactically or dynamically.

Hoddle. Sacked for less.

Santini. Walked.

Jol. Sacked for less.

Ramos. Sacked for less.

Redknapp. Sacked for less.

AVB. Sacked for less.

Sherwood. Sacked for less.

Poch. Sacked for less.

Jose. Sacked for less.

Nuno. Sacked for less.

Conte walked.

Absolutely none of the above came close to how bad Ange is. Nowhere near. Which makes all the other decisions mentioned above that much worse. Daniel Levy / ENIC. You are pissing on the remains of our dying football club. Shameful bastard.

He must stay until the cup run is over. Not for him but for future high calibre managers who are considering a move to tottenham

They need to know they'll be backed and there's no more backing than letting postecoglpu see through the season.

No world class manager wants to join a team that's trigger happy when fans / owners are unhappy.

Money talks and football is a results business.

Why? You lose 18 games out of 33 there should be consequences or what signal does that send out to prospective coaches? You can coast along, failure is tolerated and you get 2 whole seasons regardless, terrific.
