Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Levy has been letting this fester for months now. I still don't understand why he wasn't sacked at the start of the year, or before the last international break. We're regressing week on week.
It was Leicester at home for me.

We were unironically flirting with relegation and yet, nothing was done. We’re still very likely to end up 17th. The only reason we’re safe is due to the awfulness of the three relegated sides.

He has served up a relegation worthy season yet has the arrogance to chide the fans.

Just unlucky again today...

He must stay until the cup run is over. Not for him but for future high calibre managers who are considering a move to tottenham

They need to know they'll be backed and there's no more backing than letting postecoglpu see through the season.

No world class manager wants to join a team that's trigger happy when fans / owners are unhappy.
Trigger happy. You surely can't believe that it wouldn't have been reasonable to sack him months ago?

The last thing we've been this time is trigger happy. If anything we've been weak by not getting rid of him a long time ago.

Should have brought in Dyche during the international break as interim to atleast give the players heads a wobble.

There was absolutely no reason to continue this. The bloke is poison. The players don't give a fuck either. These “tactico” managers cannot man manage to save their lives.

There is not a single ambitious manager on this planet that would expect to still be in a job if they served up what Postecoglou has.

If anything, it’s the opposite. We’re showing ourselves up to be meandering, directionless buffoons.

It's so sad. You look at other clubs where fans, the manager and the board all want to win at the very least and there's genuine urgency when they don't.

Here, nothing. It's soulless. No accountability, no anger, just shit banal excuses every other week, every month, every year. I'm sick of it.

This club has everything resource wise to challenge for any trophy. The fact it's one of the worst in the PL should not be brushed off as easily as it is. This was sackable form even for West Ham months ago. The fact AP is still here is a total insult.

I don't think it is being brushed off easily by any fan.
This season is unacceptable, only a Europa win will rectify it. Think 99.9 percent recognize that.
I think a good percentage of the fan base including myself have just gone beyond fed up of it and it's all just become kinda "whatever".
There's only so many hiring and sackings you can live through to know the same old shit will happen with the next guy when ange is sacked in the summer. The league position will be better but we'll still be short of competing were we should be. And that will start immediately like clockwork in the summer when we acquire more mid table players

A Europa win won’t rectify the season. It’s unacceptable even with that.

Or it should be.

A Europa win won't rectify anything. We have been forced to eat shit for 18 months and being given a glass of lukewarm water at the end doesn't make up for it. This season has been a disgrace no matter what happens in Europa.

Literally no one will care 5 years from now about the league finish, the only talking point of the season would be that it was the year spurs won the Europa
Couldn't tell you the league position in 1984 or 1991 but I can tell u spurs won the UEFA and the fa cup those years

Ange thinks we played outstanding football tonight, he's mental and deluded.

If he can't see the problem, no wonder we are so fucked. The stupid fucker.

He thinks the result is nothing to do with our performance, because we played so well.

Beggars belief.

That's fair. But I'm getting concerned a portion of the supporter base are being conditioned into thinking the Poch years were us over achieving and we should be incredibly grateful for them, and now battling for getting into the top six should be an acceptable target. The Poch years should have been accepted as 'very good seasons' and no more - it should be set as an attainable pre-season target.

I was brought up on mid-late 90s Spurs. I was convinced we were some plucky mid-table club who were lucky to have a sniff of a European spot or a cup semi-final.

It wasn't until by chance I found my father's Spurs book of the 'Glory, Glory Nights' that I realised just how successful the club had been previously. I loved that book. It really hit home for me the sense of the 'sleeping giant's' tag I often heard about Spurs at that time that I didn't quite understand.

The club is in a much healthier place with its resources these days, but I'm worried we are going to have too many fans settling on the scraps Levy throws out and believing that mid-table really is the default level. It simply shouldn't be accepted and to see such pasivness from our fans inside the stadium when we lose at home AGAIN inside 15 minutes to leave us on the fringes of the bottom three worries me a lot.
