It's only by that law of large numbers and the football Gods belatedly giving us a break that we secured the Europa (marvellous beyond words) that we have a foundation for something far better than we could have hoped.

That some of the managerial options being floated are maybe not of the objective calibre of yesteryear should not in any way delay the right decision, or we will have chucked away an unexpected gift.

Frank will get my support if he comes. At least we know he wanted Brennan, Bergvall and Gray and he fulfills Levy’s dream of being a hipster “data” club like Brentford.

is even the hipsters choice? i'd say iraola, Terzic or who i'd prefer Xavi, is a hipsters choice. Frank is just uninspiring and reeks of a board who really dont have a clue how to operate the footballing side of a big club,

Planes can glide to a landing with a bit of skill.
Ange is more like a Helicopter pilot. All fun and games until that shit literally falls out of the fucking sky.

Saying that not sure I agree with Frank being that adaptable or tactically astute. When we played them at home, we kept on pressing them off the ball when they were trying to play out. Didn’t change during the game and go back to a more direct game, how they usually play. We got 6 or 7 good opportunities through that route in that game. Not saying he can’t work on playing out from the back in an effective way with different players but there’s no evidence of it at Brentford.

Right or wrong (wrong in this occasion) Frank changed his tactics to play out from the back in that game.
It may not have worked that time but i do like a manager that is flexible with tactics and formations
