There is a very vocal minority of cultists that want The Butcher to stay.

Painful, screeching dissonance.

Need him gone so it can stop.
i fear even after we cut the tumor out we'll be dealing with the side effects of these people for a long time. and i'd bet clubs that may consider hiring him will consider all the noise around him and pass. i'd wager he retires after us or never works in a big league again.

Lol...

That's one of many similar posts in the last 15 pages from the usual suspects. there's even one guy who is so disgusted at finishing 17th he shits on the idea of winning Champion's League trophies.

you people man... :roflmao:
That's one person who has mischaracterised the EL cup, as it's a major trophy.

Being the UEFA cup in its previous incarnation.

He's directional correct in his concern about league form, tho.

Where are the rest shitting on the cup?

I didn't see that post, and all others concerning the cup, that I've seen, love that we won it but know it papered over serious, deep cracks.

That's the problem.

Not the cup itself, per se (which, I might add, is the most attractive one of the lot).

A good test for this madness for anyone with young children:

Try explaining to a child that the club is about to fire the guy who delivered our first European trophy in over forty years and our first meaningful trophy since 1991. Tell them it's to do with league performance and hamstrings and shit like that. Go on.

Then listen to how fucken unhinged you sound

Yeah all the teenage Spurs kids from our group (most of whom were at the ground for the final) are absolutely incensed at the "rumours" he's gone.

I've tried to explain about the league position but they just saw us hold up a European trophy - you can see why they are confused.

Maybe Harry Vaginola Harry Vaginola can explain to them that they are all "cultists" while he's not at all an weirdo incel in his mums basement

Lol - the vast vast majority of Spurs fans are happy to shake Ange's hand, thank him from the bottom of our hearts, and wish him the best in the rest of his career.

There were 250, 000 of us in North London the other week.

The "vocal minority" causing "painful screeching dissonance" are the incel basement dwellers who have spent most of their time since we won a fucking European Trophy trying to piss on regular fans chips about it.

Christ the levels of delusion about this fan base. You're all so online you have no idea whatsoever of normal people. :roflmao:
dude, i'll say it again, if you think everyone else is the asshole, you're the asshole. why don't you take a break from slagging us all off. you said it already, he's gone. why not bow out gracefully? if he bounces to a big league and wins a big trophy while we bottom out again you can come pound your chest and swing your cock around but this is just getting pathetic. i'm enjoying the meltdown but even i have my limits. it's just sad now and you're making us all look bad by association. log off and go show the world how perfect your support is.

:mourthumb:

Kids are idiots mate. I wouldn't bother explaining anything to them - they probably just wanna post "warra trophy" to gooners on twitter.

Granted. How about explaining why the last 9 months we have lost 22 league games and drew nil nil after 90 minutes with a 7th tier team. Plus losing to leicester and ipswich at home.

I'm glad to see you don't agree. On that basis I withdraw my accusation that you are part of that group.

I've always said I have no problems with wanting Ange out. I've always been agnostic myself. I just can't stand any cunt trying to piss on that trophy and what it means.

Not as unhinged as someone coming up with that daft analogy!

lol you've been posting for 10 hours straight today. i stopped counting around 40 posts

Historically, Levy has sacked managers WAY before they've led the team to a dismal 17th (a deserved 17th, not an unlucky 17th). He's always seemed desperate to maintain a top 4 position. If he doesn't sack Postecoglou, my money's on Levy having being taken over by aliens from another planet.

But : We’re not in Kansas anymore:

Top 4 brings an entry ticket to the Champions League; that’s why Daniel (who rightly recognises the inequitable financial benefits for a team IN the Champions League, not just prize money and TV revenue but also the sponsorship tie-ins etc ) values it so highly.

For the first time in his stewardship of our Club ; a manager has given him an entry ticket to the Champions League AND broken a 17 / 41 year hoo-doo . The support is rightly ecstatic.

( Despite our dismal showings in the EPL ) .

Trust me ; Levy’s on the horns of a dilemma , and with good reason.

That’s a new one to add to the list of reasons he should stay so far we have

1) vibes
2) players will all terminate their contracts if he leaves
3) can’t explain it to your young child

I suspect some might be doing a bit too much in trying to assert that it doesn't mean he should stay.

They're right, of course, but if they are slagging the actual quality of the cup itself, in the process, then I'd say they are doing it in the wrong way.

It's a big trophy.

Fans want to see progress. By winning the EL this year they don't get to play in it next year to try and win it again. Spurs aren't going to win the CL, so they're putting all their eggs in the fa cup (lost to Villa in the 4th round) and the league cup (embarrassed at anfield in the semis), so you're hoping to win one of two trophies while tanking in the league every week again.

I don't have anything against Ange and I'm delighted he can ran the whole winning in his second season down everybody's throats, but bigger picture the huge red flags are there and have been for some time.

Will the next manager win anything? Maybe not, but an improved league performance could see a Europa/conference league place again, a chance to be that bigger fish and win something rather than the awful football served up in the league this past 12-18 months and hoping you play nobody good until the final where you may squeak it.

Do you know many children running multimillion pound football teams?!

No. But then that has nothing at all to do with what SausageVince SausageVince posited - which is literally being played out on my spurs chat right now as all the teenagers are starting to realise Ange is almost certainly going and can't understand it.

Like I said - do you know actual real people?
