I'm upset tbh. I know we had a shit season but it annoys me how Levy can just do what he wants. Is anyone gonna get rid of him?

As my Dad said, 'it's poured water on the feelgood factor'

Yes we weren't great in the league but to be able to celebrate a trophy with my Dad was an incredible experience and something I'll never forget.

Bizarre. You are full of hatred because...he cupped his ear?
There were two moments of Ange's tenure that will stand above all others for me. Lifting the Europa trophy, and mugging off the supporters as he did and then lying about it afterward.

That's the book written and closed and I've had my fill of him.

Thanks for Bilbao Ange.

Never understood the vile hate some spout his way. The guy was the first manager in forever to bring us a trophy and stick up for the club the way we wish others would.

League form did him in obviously but I'll remember him as a good guy who brought us glory.

Best part of sacking him is if this means idiots will stop mentioning THAT Chavs game now!

Brendan Rodgers anyone?

I'm sorry, but it's made the feel good factor for me even better. We've now got the trophy monkey off our backs and now we will someone half competent coaching us.

Oh by the way. Levy runs the club from top to bottom. He can pretty much do what the hell he likes. Do I like that? Not one bit but that's the reality of it.

There will be people in this forum who will legitimately celebrate harder the day Ange is moved on than the day Tottenham won their first European trophy in over 40 years.

Wibble wibbble. Some of us are doing both, pussyhole.
I even put £ 1000 on us on the final.
Cry more if you want. Even take the next Quantas flight with him.
This forum won't save you... and evidently, him.
What a time to be alive!!!!

“At times there were extenuating circumstances - injuries and then a decision to prioritise our European campaign. ”

So they knew he was prioritizing the EL over the league
Yeah probably the last few weeks before the final, but I don’t believe for a second it was endorsed from January as Ange claimed.

Anyway there’s not much point dissecting it further as only they know the truth.

I told the fanzine exactly this. You wait till they start to drop some of the stories..The concensus is very much: best facilities , state of the art data team....clown car coaching and sports science. I know the devotees won't accept the truth but Ange is full Mike Bassett apparently. Some aspects of the review were humiliating the bloke who worked at the Goons was speechless by the findings

On the record for you then, who is the competent manager you will get behind all the way?
Someone who's experience isn't in Australia, Japan & Scotland. Having said that, seeing as the fraud has finally gone, allow us to debate in good faith even thought I know you're feeling quite raw at the minute. I'd like to see us either go for the best available or failing that someone proven in the Prem.

Now, if it comes down to the Prem proven which will mean not top 6 managers as it likely will due to Levy, I think I'd prefer Iraola, Glasner then Frank. Nothing scientific behind it tbh, I welcome your any and all of your rebuttals.

What is so annoying Is that the league form didn’t have to be as bad as it was and if he had ended up finishing about 10th I bet he would still be in the job. We could easily have done that and still won the Europa league.
I am a bit sad about it because part of me just wonders if next season would be different after winning that cup. However, maybe that is just wishful thinking as we have been so bad for about 18 months. I just can’t help but think that whatever Levy does is always the wrong decision so it is hard to be optimistic.
