Phew! At last! Now perhaps we can get back to the team being coached by someone with a footballing brain.

This is one of the best accounts around. Mostly get it right.

In short his system would work with elite players probably who are 1 v 1 dominate. Doesn’t work when you don’t have physical dominance.

It’s perhaps why Spence and Bergvall did so well as they are physical beasts.

Mate the proof is in what your saying.

Unless every single player is better than his opponent, it wouldn't work. That makes the manager irrelevant.

This manager hung both of these players out to dry. good for them to take it in their stride.

Best thing Ange did was not make an issue out of kane leaving and being bullish in what he did for the short term.

And fair play for helping us to end our trophy drought.

100% the right decision by the club.

its over GIF

Your lot put a combined 15 goals past us! Our defending was tragic under Ange. It was only because he abandoned his ways and played the Ange wall that we actually won. And it wasn't a pretty game let's be honest. We could barely string two passes together.

I'll always be grateful for the trophy but this is very much the right decision.
To be fair, I dont think we played any of those games against your strongest back 4. I mean in general, and I mean no disrespect, but Romero and Van De Ven are the only two defensively world class players you have (even though I really like Porro, its more what he does with the ball that I think makes him good). With even one of them missing, its a fragile backline. And I just checked, neither of those 2 played any of those 4 games. Danso looks decent, but not nearly the same as those 2. Again, I think it's a recruitment problem when the gap in quality between the best XI and the rest of the squad is so wide. In general, apart from Romero, there are no leaders in that team. If he's not playing, who's organising??

Again, I am not looking argue with supporters of the club on their forum, just think the decision was really strange. The squad has clearly over achieved in my opinion, given the circumstances (not talking about the league position, that's pretty awful but in context, makes sense to some extent, but the general post season situation - CL Football, a European Trophy, and another domestic cup semi final at the end of a 60 game season, for context, no english club played more games this season. Woolwich's second with 58 games, and their post season situation is worse in my eyes)

Lol, if we get a manager who's managed at the Prem level then he'll deserve time until he doesn't, the same way it's always gone until we made the mad decision of hiring this fraud.

How about you mate, who do you want in charge and before you think it, no J-League managers

If it’s J League managers who win usc trophies then sure.

I’ve said for ages I’d go for Xavi but he’d ask Levy for ambition with the wages required to compete.

Carded me. Lol. Fascism is not a legitimate political position, but happy to now know you identify with it
You don't even know what the word means.

And slagging off English people on a forum where probably 80% are English proves you aren't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Now suck my big English schlong and when your finished you can jog on
