This is an argument with people that don't exist. Nobody I know of is saying that we would rather have finished 4th this season than have the season that we had. The point is, that the circumstances that resulted in the trophy were not from some masterful template forged by the manager, but an unrepeatable freak. A freak that I'm delirious happened. But unrepeatable nonetheless. However, what was clearly repeatable, and likely to continue, was the dire league form. Because it's been the case since March 2024.
