I know it's been mentioned already but 78 points from 66 games?

And people are surprised he has been sacked?

I will be forever grateful for the trophy, he promised it and delivered it but that Premier League record is beyond atrocious.
Thinking the sacking is too cold and brutal, and therefore thinking he should've been given the start of the season, I can understand. I disagree, but I can comprehend feeling like it.

Feigned incredulity and saying things like "I can't understand. Unbelievable. Why has this possibly happened". Is just intentional dishonesty.

I didn't vote reform or leave.
Are you suggesting we don't like this useless coach who has averaged 1.1ppg since his honeymoon ended because he's not English?

Fuck sake.
No. I'm suggesting the majority of English voters vote against their own best interests. The Ange out campaign is against our own best interests, at least where spurs supporters are concerned.

I was drawing attention to this parallel.

Liverpool fan here!
Bit surprised to see that everyone seems to be on board with the decision to sack him. I liked the bloke and thought he played good football. The league season has been dreadful but I thought the context was obvious. He came from a 41 game season last year finishing within 2 points of top 4 to playing a 60 game season with Solanke and a couple new kids as reinforcements. The injuries and the proceeding dip in performance seemed pretty expected. The actual finish sort of vindicates it enough where I thought he deserved a fair crack with enough reinforcements this time around. Its completely normal to me that a squad having to play 50% more games will suffer if they dont recruit well.
No idea if there were other issues but I was surprised so I wanted to see how the Spurs fans felt and the reaction seems to just confuse me that bit more.
Either way, good luck on your next manager recruitment!
What's the weather like in Melbourne?

Correct decision - heart over head argument could be made for keeping him sure but the cold hard facts are we are a shit side who lose more than we win for well over a year now.
If we won the Europa wiping the floor with everyone and playing his football while finishing even 12th he would still be in a job but the fact is his football didn’t win the trophy it was the polar opposite.
Thanks for the cup Ange but a new chapter was needed imo.
Frank is a huge gamble.

Thinking this board will be less busy when some of the Ange Only fans flow out to whatever side he's managing in the championship or the SPL next year

For someone who wanted Ange out you've really gone off the rails here. We haven't even appointed Frank?
Sacking Ange is the right decision... no question he had to go... but come on... Thomas fucking Frank... you might as well given it to Mason or Johnny Jackson at AFC Wimbledon. It's a terrible hire that smacks of a guy who wont push Levy. He's 53 and done fuck all in his career. This is his pinnacle. Never even had a sniff of a big job even though Man U and Chelsea change manager every season. Nuno vibes all over this... we needed to make a statement hire... instead it looks like we are going for the Danish David Moyes. Hope I'm wrong but betting suspended.

But you're getting cross about something that hasn't happened?

If it's the the right decision you seem furious about it for some reason.
