Thinking this board will be less busy when some of the Ange Only fans flow out to whatever side he's managing in the championship or the SPL next year
Seriously though, if I were Brenda, I’d be worried that Ange is available again. His ‘tactics’ work in the mess that is Scottish football. Playing championship/league 1 level sides with a team, who imo if they got chucked into England tomorrow is a mid table Prem side is fairly easy, but losing to Aberdeen in a cup final is something (the idea of) Ange couldn’t have done. Imo it’s like 90/10 he ends up there again.

He's 53
Never been considered for a top job
Never won anything in his career
Was sacked by the mighty Brondby
His football is industrious at best and his greatest achievement is finishing 10 places above the club budget. Johnny Jackson with the 90th budget in the football league just finished 73rd and won playoffs. Surely we should go with him...
What’s your obsession with Jonnie Jackson? Are you really comparing a guy who has overachieved in the premier league for 3 years with a League 2 manager?

Is your criteria someone that has already won something? We just got rid of a guy who did that. Who else has won the PL. Pep, Slot, Klopp, Conte? Or you think we can get Ancellotti or Zidane or Luis Enrique? Let’s face it no one we get is a dead cert (see Jose and Conte). Our best manager in recent PL history is someone we took who was overachieving at a smaller PL club in Poch. I’m not sure the answer is Frank either by the way but I’m not going to get upset if we go down an experienced PL manager route. FWIW I would rather have Glasner but probably not much in any of the options

Sacking Ange is the right decision... no question he had to go... but come on... Thomas fucking Frank... you might as well given it to Mason or Johnny Jackson at AFC Wimbledon. It's a terrible hire that smacks of a guy who wont push Levy. He's 53 and done fuck all in his career. This is his pinnacle. Never even had a sniff of a big job even though Man U and Chelsea change manager every season. Nuno vibes all over this... we needed to make a statement hire... instead it looks like we are going for the Danish David Moyes. Hope I'm wrong but betting suspended.
He was linked heavily with Chelsea and United jobs I believe.

Levy Out is a constant.

Frank is a very good manager who has done wonders on a small budget.

A huge upgrade on the dog we just had.
People are always turnig their noses because they want big names. But Frank has done a very good job, with a limited budget and a limited squad managin in the EPL. I think someone like him is a far more secure choice than Izaghi, for instance. And remember the last time we hired a promising PL manager it was Pochettino and it went very well.

Ange Postecoglou sacked: Ruthless Spurs explain call in 368-word statement as Celtic icon breaks silence on axe

Tottenham Hotspur have explained their decision to sack manager Ange Postecoglou despite leading them to Europa League glory.
The former Celtic boss was axed on Friday evening in a 368-word statement - with Spurs saying it is “one of the toughest decisions” they have made.

While Postecoglou led the club to a European trophy, Tottenham’s performance in the English Premier League was deemed unacceptable, finishing 17th - one place above the relegation zone.

Postecoglou had delivered on his promise of “always” winning in his second season thanks to the 1-0 victory over Manchester United in Bilbao on May 21, etching the Australian’s name into the history books as only the third Spurs boss to taste European success and the first in 17 years to lift silverware – provoking an outpouring of affection from a previously split fanbase.

While Postecoglou - appointed in June 2023 after landing a treble and a double following two trophy-laden seasons at Celtic - divided opinion across two years in England and attracted criticism, his San Mames triumph last month has not earned him a third season at the helm.

Spurs are ruthless about winning! They counted the number of words in this outrage! 17th place was "deemed" unacceptable, as if it's not unacceptable on its face...

So upsetting!

What a shite argument

No love for Baldcunt, but you really need to go follow Ange to his next club and continue the love affair.

It doesn't have to be over.

Keep the flame alive, my guy.

Good luck!
Absolutely, sounds like a plan!

And good luck to you guys too. I guess the positive is that despite it being down to Postecoglou for winning you his customary 2nd season trophy, it’s not like you were the laughing stock of British football for the 2 decades prior to his arrival. It’s not like the concept of having victory in sight and throwing it away every single time was literally named after Spurs. It’s not like if you’d polled 100 football fans asking which team they most associate with failure, 99 of them would say Tottenham.

Thankfully, none of those things are tru… oh wait, shit, they’re all true! Fuck! Well, good luck winning the ‘we finished 5th in the league!’ trophy again at least!🤞

I think I speak for all the Ange fuckbois when I say, thank fucking fuck for that. We're out baby, out!

:ange-pray::ange-arms2::ange-lol:

Goodnight and good luck.

Have the big names ever worked out here? They wont as they dont get an open chequebook to buy who they want.
